PFW: MUGLER SPRING 2020 COLLECTION

As much as the dress worn by Kim Kardashian West at the this year´s MET Gala was not so Camp the latest collection by the same designer that has made that crystals embroidered, tight-the tightest dress ever was very much edgy, so Camp and bold. The name Mugler has always been known for the bold fashion statements where the context of Ready To Wear walks on the sleek line towards the more  Couture fashion editions. This collection was glamorous in all its edginess giving us the imperative of the modern woman that is seductive yet very chic!

The collection was brought in the more monochromatic looks. From all blacks to the electric blue, or with the synergies of the three-colored pieces. The starting point was the inspiration in the lingerie and making the underwear more "public" and every day presentable. The first look was worn by  Bella Hadid in the black ensemble made of the body piece alluring the stockings paired with the sharp cropped jacket. The oxymoronic nature of this look screams the brevity and exclusivity that Mugler is all about!

Speaking about the cuts. Yes, they were astonishingly deconstructed in the mannerism of super long and super-short editions, especially on the skirts. The mentioned stocking effect here was even more accentuated by the easy-going nature of the quotidian and so "ordinary" piece like the skirt. The It piece was definitely the artistic feature of the high-waisted ovaries contoured jeans with the all-over cropped top. For those fashion lovers that like a good form, the ruffled skirts were definitely a highlight of the collection!

This collection has shown the ultra-glamorous side of Spring/Summer style! The extraordinary spirit was caught in the cuts and the inspiration with the luxurious lingerie. With the strong minimalistic yet rich effect as the final impression, it has offered a totally bold and fierce side of the style that anybody could relate too! From the body and age-diverse models from the runway to the real women!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like the extraordinary touches in it? Which look do you find the most interesting?

STEPPING INTO VERSACE TRIBE

If you didn´t know about the famous jungle-print dress that Jennifer Lopez wore at the Grammy´s in 2000, well you have been living under the rock! This year marks almost twenty years from that spectacular moment which is proof that the right dress can boost your entire career! So, the power of fashion is something not to take for granted. So the juxtaposition and the inspiration for the latest Spring/Summer 2020 Versace collection was definitely driven by that famous tribe print and even more, classy Versace looks from their archive which has been so inspiring for Ms. Donatella Versace!

Everything has started with the seductively elevated versions of the corporative mixed with the Versace factor glamour looks. From all blacks ensembles with the mini-miniature lengthed jacket-dresses to the pencil skirt paired with the wide-shouldered blouse! The high-feminine factor was accentuated with the sleek strapped heels bonded over the knees! This detail that is so chic yet bursting with the seductive approach, this sums up what the current Versace woman is all about!

For more urban twist there were cropped jeans jackets and the neon-colored raincoats. The wet look was present not just in the ensembles but on the hair too giving us the real evocation of the urban sexiness. And then the tribe game started! The tribe prints were all over the place. In the original green one, from the flamingo pinks. The heterogenic approach from the anthological green ones was the step out in the texture sense! The chiffon was interrupted with the shiny embellishments or the satin ones. Just to give it a new aura!

Oh, talking about the new aura! Yes, there was that iconic green tribe-printed dress worn at the very end by Jennifer Lopez! But this time it was alternated into the, even more, sexier and hotter (as if that was even possible, but apparently it was) sleeveless and higher cut dress, very similar to that famous one JLo wore almost twenty years ago! She looked even hotter now than then! And yes, that was possible too!

So the anniversary of this iconic moment and dress was remembered perfectly calling us to step into Versace tribe! This collection was stunning, amazing, smart, elegant, fresh, brave, feminine, modern and gorgeous! Plus we got to see Jennifer Lopez slaying that runway! More we can not ask for, right!

What do you think about this collection? Do you remember which importance is connected to that famous green dress?

Thank you for your attention!

MFW: ALBERTA FERRETTI S/S 2020 COLLECTION

Ultra big fisherman hat, mellow camel colors interrupted with mustardy tones, breezy boho-dresses, and refined nightwear! With these words, we could sum up the latest Spring/Summer 2020 collection by Alberta Ferretti. Her signature like the silky textures, and flattering silhouettes that are gasping at the first sight, were on the here too but with the accents on the daily concept of design. Her inspiration was the casual-glamorous beach goddess and this segment was driven all the way throughout the collection!

The segment with the colors was really new for Alberta Ferretti! Usually, there are plenty of pastels and vibrant shades, but in this collection, the accent was more on the low-key Earth tones uplifted with the light nature of the textures to the level of the perfect beach gear solutions! The silhouettes were airy and even the trousers were baggy and high-waisted with the voluminous enough strong blouses or ultra-thin blazers on the top!

This collection was definitely a beach-oriented. Just a glimpse at the long dresses brought in the chic-boho mannerism that was polished only with the coral and pink flushed chromatic solutions, says that with this design repertoire you can deliver the perfect beach-party look! If you want to maintain the ultra-glam look then the night-dresses are for you! The refined knitted and laced versions of the Alberta Ferretti dresses alternated with the chiffon ruffles and see-through fabrics are the perfect choice for the upgraded cocktail-gown!

This collection has served us some amazing looks! With the varieties from the daily options that are more casual and feminine or more glamorous in the night versions, it shows the innovations in the design for Alberta Ferretti fans! It is a design that adores quotidian style aspirations but brings a dash of glamour! And that is the factor that brings the impeccable addition to this collection!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like dresses and the colors´ choice? Which look do you find the more intriguing?

LFW: ERDEM S/S 2020 COLLECTION

The fashion week frenzy has been continued from New York to London. I will write more about the collections that were presented at the New York Fashion Week later, but in this post just to keep it up with the hectic and the dynamic nature of fashion weeks, I will continue to write about the newest collections from London Fashion Week. London Fashion Week is known for its heterogenic structure when it comes to the artistic point of view, so London is always exciting to see what the fashion houses will present!

The latest collection that was held today was the one from the fashion brand Erdem. Erdem has been and that with every rational reason, quickly become an IT brand that has been recognized for its high romantic nature that is still very artistically full and well rounded! This brand knows how to create and make the pieces that will be kept in the horizon of the high elegance, yet still deliver the most exciting looks ever! This show for Spring/Summer 2020 was not an exception either!

This year the vision for Spring/Summer is inspired by the high Fata Morgana kind of approach. The hats that allure the Spanish vibes paired with the silky bows give us the French riviera kind of glamour! But Erdem likes to be more assertive and that I mean in the so positive way. In this case, the low-key style was kept in the full-beach attire that reminds to the more Japanese concept of the summer gear! From the heavy ruffled long glows, to the already mentioned hats, from the long dresses and the even longer silhouettes in general. Even the silky poncho-alike ensemble looked like a perfect "Inscenation" of the impeccable non-summer Summer-Esq outfits!

What gives Erdem the stand out in the fashion mainstream is definitely the story with the prints! Even in the era of the neatly embroidered coats with the florals that have become a trademark piece when we think about Erdem, the ability to make most gorgeous ones in this collection was really that summer joy what is it searched when we talk about Spring/Summer context! Maybe the cuts and the forms were more on the anti-summer juxtaposition, but the prints interluded by the few monochromatic solutions in vibrant yellow or mellow flamingo!

Seems like Erdem has so much to say in the design sense! Just as we think they have shown us everything, Erdem surprises us with something new, innovative, yet so acceptable and very Erdem and that finesse is something that these days are really rare to witness! Or to say it with the simple words! This collection is a full hit and simply beautiful!

What do you think about Erdem style in general? Which look do you find the most interesting from this collection?

Thank you for your attention!
