Just Cavalli is the brand of the larger one Roberto Cavalli. It is meant to be more oriented on the audience and consumers that are young and more in "Vogue"! The "Mischung" or the eclectic spirit that goes in that sassier way is something that the latest Pre-Fall 2020 is all about. From the graphic white and black ensembles to the more animalistic ones that allure that Roberto Cavalli vibe, or the cool casual solutions. It is all happening in this collection giving us the esprit of effortless style and chicness.
The one thing that undertones this whole collection is the playful side with the forms and cuts. From asymmetric ones to the baggier or more saturated ones. Everything is on the display, like if you would look into the wardrobe of the most stylish person on the street! That is kind of style this collection is all about, being classy but with exciting percussions in the zone of chromatic solutions, fabrics, and heterogenic textures.
The most amazing is definitely the dresses that bring the extra nocturnal chic points on the table. Like the deep V-cut one with the swing in the one-ruffle feature, or the baby-doll one that is kept on the playful note of the spectrum. The central star of the collection was the embellished body-suit that is seethrough! Talking about the sassy moment that was brought to the next level with the snake printed high boots and the same waistline bag! Stunning, simple yet so inspiring!
This collection that was brought in the form of the witty editorial with the black multi-voluminous balloons, is definitely something that has kept the Just Cavalli spirit on. Not just because there were plenty of JC logos in the game. The whole spirit of the collection was fresh, youthful, playful and provocative. But built with the stunning pieces, like the impeccable cut coats or trousers! And it is simply a gorgeous one, indeed!
What do you think about this collection? Do you like Just Cavalli style, in general? Which look do you find the most interesting?

WELCOME TO THE FASHION ESCAPISM! LIFE IS SO MUCH BETTER THROUGH THE FASHION LENS, RIGHT! ENJOY IN THE LATEST TRENDS STRAIGHT FROM THE RUNWAYS!
CAN A CURRENT HAUTE COUTURE BE SAVED?!
For fashion fans, especially those who like and follow Haute Couture the work by Pierpaolo Piccioli for Valentino is a breeze of fresh air! Particularly the latest few collections where Mr. Piccioli has unleashed his "Couture" spirit upgrading the already known typical Valentino couture and design canons and codes into his own fashion story that is acceptable, fresh, exciting and beautiful just as the same as Valentino design as we know it!
The latest Haute Couture 2020 Pre-Fall collection was a total festivity of Couture what we used to know, what Couture had been made so amazing and different from the rest of the fashion niches. Lately, I need to undertone this, it seems like Haute Couture has lost its spark. It has been "down-graded" to the more casual and minimalistic slide with the accents on the easy approachable style that can be imagined in the quotidian use. And that is ok, for some time! But fashion needs to be tendentious towards the aesthetic that is uplifting, different, bold, brave and simultaneously well cut at the same time! It seems like in the work of Pierpaolo Piccioli all of these segments are well imagined and brought to the final light!
But let me say a few words about this collection! The word is about Haute Couture Pre-Fall 2020 capsule collection! Accents are on the "capsule" and "Couture" collection! The capsule means that this collection is imagined to be limited one with the pieces that are representative of that particular, in this case, Valentino, fashion brand! This concept of the term "capsule" is often used in the concept of Ready To Wear collections and the wardrobe that is used in everyday life. But here Piccioli has made an exception and has made the same concept but in the terms of Haute Couture and it was presented in Beijing!
This collection indeed did have everything that Valentino Couture's spirit is all about! From the big bows saturated one on one, to the micro-fine three-dimensional ornaments, from the cult red dresses to the amazing, now already iconic Piccioli rich prints! With the gorgeous cuts that are sharp and neat even when the texture is heterogenic and boosted with palpable features, and amazing voluminous gowns that in one moment you see as the luxurious coat or cape, and in the other as the floor-sweeping dress!
As I am describing all of this it can sound a totally hectic fashionable point of view, but you see, here is why Piccioli is so great at what he does. Everything appears so neat and simple, systematic and well thought. Yet the symphony in design sense is polyvalent and simply dazzling! It only shows how Piccioli is an amazing Couturier (maybe even bigger than Mr. Valentino Gharavani himself?!) in the tailoring sense but loves the richness of design and what design speaks about!
And at the very end, we ask ourselves, or at least we consider to bring this rhetorical question; could Haute Couture be saved today? Well, if we see this collection, totally yes! Couture that is picturesque, heterogenic, and daring to be a realization of a dream! More re-assurance we do not need to ask!
What do you think about this collection? Do you think that Valentino´s Couture is definitely something that is inspiring and rich in the artistical sense? Do you think that Couture can be saved in that sense?
Thank you for your attention!

BALMAIN AND ITS ARTISTIC FULL-SWING
There is something definitely different in the aesthetic of Balmain. The French fashion house under the leading role by Olivier Rousteing that is known for the racy and seductive imperative under the #BalmainArmy hashtag. In the latest few collections, the arms have muted down and the interest of Rousteing has gone into the direction of Couture! The expression is more artistically rounded and experimentally boosted. With the more sculpted forms and de-construction obliques, Balmain has definitely stepped into the new and more mature era and that does not mean anything bad, but very exciting!
The prove for that is in the latest Spring/Summer 2020 collection. The build-up on all fronts, from the coloristic ones to the volumes and texture-wise, everything is developed even further with the finale that is simply stunning. From the black and white ensembles at the very beginning, that was sculpted really sharp in the definitions, then the stunning flowy-full dresses in the vibrant pink, yellow or electric blue. And the vision of all of that mixture in the eyes and creations of Olivier Rousteing is very sharp clear and unapologetic!
If one thing Balmain is serving us lately, that is the boldness of Rousteing as a designer and creator. He has gone in the direction to the more refined and slightly edgy direction and he simply swims really amazing in these new waters! Just the glimpse at the over-uber-big version of coat and sweeping dress in polka dots, re-assures us that this Balmain is here to win new fashion fans and lovers! Or the sexy cut-outed mega-ruffled jumpsuit in pomegranate! The color, the form, the volume! Everything is so fresh and looks really amazing!
Some people or customers could find this collection too bold or too artistically involved. But we must say "Bravo" to the designer courage to Olivier Rousteing! This new spin will definitely bring the new fans of Balmain that know a really great fashion, that is ready to explore and to be dazzled! And we must applause to that fact!
What do you think about this collection? Do you like this Balmain design? Which look do you like the most?
Thank you for your attention!

WHEN FASHION BECOMES IRONIC!
Rushemy Bicotter and Lisi
Herrebrugh was named as the designer duo of Nina Ricci team. The collection
Spring/Summer 2020 was their first for this fashion brand. And I need to say,
that they have taken the quirky and the playful spirit of Nina Ricci design to
another and totally developed level. It has been really a long time that one
fashion brand has taken an ironic and not-so-serious kind of approach, and with
this collection, Nina Ricci has definitely set the path to the style that is
still elegant and chic, yet so fresh and in some cute and unpretentious way,
interesting!
The first look that has opened
the collection was just the interlude and light evocation of what we would see
int he further looks. The crispy and almost sculpted white ensemble featured by
the blouse with the futuristic/Victorian padded shoulders on the top of the plain midi-skirt. Then the total opposite
swing in the form of the all-blacks looks with the ruffled coat and wide
shoulders. Oh, mentioning the ruffles. They were definitely the highlight in the
texture sense for this collection. They were attached on almost every look
giving the whole collection the edgy and playful spirit!
And then, something completely
different in the continuum. The pastel bright off-shoulders midi-dresses that
were shaped in the, again sculpted volume and boosted with the multi-layered underneath
layers. The total edgy „Stich“ was definitely in the real buckets that were
rocked as the hats or bags, and their realistic mimesis. That moment of the reverse function has brought the neo-post-modernistic touch in this collection.
Very simple, yet so authentic and bold! In this case, the bucket was bright pink
to go perfectly with the baby-pink look!
The stars of this collection were
definitely the tops and blouses. From the ruffled ones to the wide-shoulders
ones, in the vibrant colors, like yellow, for example, or the three-dimensional
floral ones, indicate and invite you to be inspired by this collection. In today's era of fashion where everything is so serious, it is really brave to
have a sense of not taking yourself too much seriously. And this collection is
the right one for all of those fashion fans that love the art of fashion, the
freedom of it, the joy that brings! And all of that this collection has
offered! Job mastered! And we can not
wait for a new collection for Nina Ricci!
What do you think about this
collection? Do you find amazing the new design? Which look do you find the most
interesting?
Thank you for your attention!
