A NEW ERA FOR FENDI

Resort 2020 collection by Fendi was the first one without the late Karl Lagerfeld. The creative spirit of Mr. Lagerfeld is definitely something that will be missed but in life, and fashion is not an exception either, everything must go one. So the new collections needed to be delivered. This collection was designed by Lagerfeld´s assistant Silvia Venturini Fendi. The concept of the classic Fendi was there and yet it looked different.

The high and elegant classic is something for this Italian brand has been known about. And this collection was not an exception either. The dash of luxury was on the high note with the highly refined textures featured in the materials like cashmere, shiny and matte leather, satin and silk. The opening look was in all red monochrome edition built from the deep cut blouse and asymmetric skirt with a sharp-shouldered blazer. The monograms are a gro-detail when it comes to Fendi design, but just like everything in the concept of it, looks really refined and "not-in-your-face" kind of way. The prove of it is this skirt with the tiny monograms all over it. To be everything on the "style fleek" the socks were in this same colored-logo edition; the red ones with logos all over it!

That concept went on further in the collection that was presented in the form of simple editorial with the hotel lobby as a display, alluring that these clothes are made for everyday action and quotidian occasions like work, office, or simply the urban life. So with that intention, the light pink trenchcoat made of shiny leather with the monograms all over it, speaks perfectly for itself. The robust nature of it was toned down with the cinched waistline with the belt in the same kind of vibe. The fisherman hat and the big saddle pouchy bag in the camel colors have perfectly matched the chicness of the whole look!

The three items concept is definitely something Fendi still nourishes and by that I mean, the blouse, the skirt and the blazer on top. This indicates the joy of dressing up and the elegant code that in Fendi adore so much! But the much modern spin on Fendy lady was the high waisted wide pants with the same voluminous shirt. The flowy yet captured silhouette has definitely more of an urban edginess and yet looks so polished and exclusive. And that is what Fendi has been and obviously still remains to be!

This collection was definitely a breaker because it was the first one without Mr. Lagerfeld. Yet the concept of Fendi and that is a classic pure, luxuriously refined approach with the huge feminine boost is definitely the area Fendi will continue to collect the fashion fans and consumers´ appreciation!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like it? Which look do you find the most interesting?

SAY IT WITH FASHION BY GUCCI

We all know and understand the concept of the multi-eclecticism when we talk about the fashion brand Gucci under the creative leadership from Alessandro Michele. From the seductive polished minimalism from now so long Tom Ford era, the signature of design that has become so attached to the current Gucci design is something that has set the brand into the niche of the not just already mentioned multi-eclecticism, but the poly-valent sense of art. And yes, art is something that is so dear to Alessandro Michele. It is his source on the immense creativity that makes fashion more than just fashion, more just a visual sensation. It is deeper and conceptualistic rounded!

The more parallel inspirational guidelines were part of Resort 2020 collection by Gucci. The strong and echoing visual approach is something Alessandro Michele has mastered it. But, this time it was all a little more, a little bolder and strong. The known seventies geek aura was there. That type of aesthetic is something that is the fountain and the starting point for Alessandro Michele design. The light aura of a modern Woodstock was brought with the tweedy skirts, coats, and blouses. Then there were the long dresses that looked almost like the uplifted version of the nightgowns. The minimalistic cut was boosted with the edgy accessories like big sunglasses, statement earrings or embellished shower caps alike headpieces.

But Alessandro Michele´s sense for design is more than just bold and expressive ensembles. In this collection, he has celebrated the woman´s right to choose when it comes to her body regarding the latest abortion ban in some states in the USA. He has recognized the delicate situation that the world has stepped into so he was, well first of designers from the mainstream scene, to talk about this delicate issue. And he made it in his own way, artistically on point with the long chiffon cream dress with the uterus embroidered on it and with the flowers embroidered in the womb. More symbolistic yet straight and without no fuss could not be!

Of course, that was not the only highlight. As the show was coming to its finale (there were more than nineties looks with the men fashion included too) the references went bolder! The ensemble that looked like an edgy and sassy derivation of the Catholic priests and nuns uniforms were highlights of the show. With gorgeous items hidden under all of it, like cascade ruffled dress or the refined embroidered toga alike cape. This only indicates that with all of that mish and mash there were included some really amazing pieces.

This collection has shown the power of fashion! Yes, the fashion itself is a beautiful channel to communicate, but when it is brought to talk about important things, it is brave and clear! This collection was full of amazing items that will definitely be the IT at your Instagram timeline because of Alessandro Michele impeccable talent! Not just the talent to create and to design, but to make a point! And this collection was all of that and even more!

What do you think about this collection? Is this design something you can relate too and I don´t mean just in the fashion sense?

BRING THE GLAM ON BY ZAC POSEN

Zac Posen is all about the glamour! He likes that his design is all in the pure glam sphere. With the ready for red carpet dresses, he has established himself as a favorite designer of A-list celebrities. There is something so dazzling and different in Zac Posen concept of style that in this "the uglier the piece-the more you are rich" fashion era his sense for the style looks like pure fashion escapism. And what a gorgeous one! Because in the end, fashion needs sometimes to be just like that, glamorous, lady pure and elegant!

Seems like this aesthetic was the clue for the latest Resort 2020 collection by Zac Posen. The classic with the huge vintage accent that was alluring at the 40s years of twenty century, when the joy of dressing up was not a fas but joy! The first look that was brought in the form of the simple editorial, was just like that from the 40s inspired daily dress. The midi length and the unpretentious and refined print was definitely the choice for the perfect spin on a traditional glamour! The silhouette was easy and soft.

The more structured forms Zac Posen delivers in his long dresses. They scream the ultimate glamour effect, in the choice of the texture and colors. Just like that one dress in the mustardy yellow with a satin glow. The sleek silhouette was interluded by a mini-cape alike attachment on the back just to give the whole story a new swing! Something completely different was the ball gown dress with micro-embellishments on it! The naked shoulders and the corset topping was definitely in the range of a total and pure glamour spectrum and that is what Zac Posen likes to create!

In the same kind of style mannerism, was the Cinderella alike dress in a light blue dress. This time the shoulders were kept covered with the short sleeves and deep cleavage! There was plenty of dresses that were simply gorgeous. Like the one in deep violet color. The hourglass silhouette was kept on the imperative with another cape, but this time in a long version, just to boost up the drama! Or the red one beauty, that was the star of the collection. With the vintage overall neckline and cinched in a waist, the wow-factor was on fleek, no doubt!

This collection was dominantly created for the evening wear options. The style of Zac Posen has always been so glamorous and so elegant! And that looks so refreshing and stunning! Reminding us what sometimes fashion is all about, the joy of dressing up!

What do you think about this collection? Which dress do you like the most? Do you like this all glamorous style?

EASY TO WEAR GLAM BY VALENTINO

Fine and refined! Seems like Pierpaolo Piccioli has found the perfect formula for his aesthetic vibe in Valentino. The loosed up silhouettes that have become so in the level of a trademark just like the opulence in the airy and moving-friendly volume. The first thing that comes in the eye is the gentleness of the textures that are glamorous and yet so every-day inspired. Seems like the total loose and freedom for exactly this kind of design has been the inspiration for the latest Resort 2020 collection for Valentino.

The all-monochrome look in violet that has been displayed in this collection that was, like the most of them, presented in the form of a gorgeous editorial, has set the ultimate imperative for this collection and that is slightly moody romantic with the sassy accents. The sassiness was all in the hats and the drama pure was in the length of the dresses that came up almost like the capes. The drama was toned down with the suede boots and the silhouette was secured with the sheer belt!

Oh, talking about the silhouette, there is something so special about the silhouette by Pierpaolo Piccioli. It is full of drama yet so comprehensive and relatable! It is fluent and flowy but strict and clear. The choice of the textures goes in that way. Most of the materials were in the satin niche going perfectly with the concept of the resort. The highlight of this collection in this sense was definitely the ling dress with a big white star and the little black ones featuring the white-light pink-black stripes as a layout. The streamy character was pointed with the ruffles around the coral and sleek midi-sleeves!

The character of the pieces could be saturated in the both daily as in the nightwear gear. The simplicity of the forms that are still very couture and dramatic. Just enough for anyone who likes to dress up! The olive green in the swiping length dress could be put more in the night out glam but on the other hand, the jeans outfit with the flare pants and a minimalistic blouse underneath allows this collection to have even a pure daily flavor!

Of course, there were fringes, embellishments and all that glam. And still this collecttion looks so refined and simple! And that is the key of the design by Pierpaolo Piccioli! So recognizable and with the attitude! And there is nothing that we can not like about it!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like the signature design that Valentino has been serving lately?
