From the famous "We Should All Be Feminists" that encaptured the roots of #MeToo movement alluding that fashion is so much more than just style, outfits, and trends, the "parole"-ism nature is definitely something that Maria Grazia Chiuri is fond of. She likes to be upfront and she does it amazingly, offering us the straight-forward fashion that goes hand in hand with her conscious concept of the fashion, women, and world in general!

The latest Pre-Fall 2020 collection was conceived like the manifesto of the fashion. With the quotes that define what fashion is today in the eyes of the modern Dior creative director, it has offered the stunning collection that bursts with the tailoring impeccably on point spirit. The silhouettes were strong, almost sculpture alike precise giving the whole collection the strong presentable aura. From the gorgeous tweed coats and ensembles, with the sleek and structured well skirts and mini skirt. This whole declarative story has had an androgynous effect in the forms, and not just in the forms, but in the textures too!

The sculpted nature of the silhouette that has rather a tom-boy-ish charm alluring that Dior fashion can be both; extravagantly beautiful and gorgeous and strong in the file of the casual touches. The fisherman´s hats just like the big Dior totes, have gone in that casual and urban "Stich"! Yet at the end of the collection, the red off-shoulder dress with the corset upper part has set the tone of being free to look and dress how you like and want! And that is the non-imperative imperative of this collection! and isn´t this the reason why fashion is so stunning and astonishing piece of art!

NEW ERA FOR ROBERTO CAVALLI

For the fashion fans, the name Roberto Cavalli has been the epitome for high luxurious and glamorous style interrupted with the visual sensational prints from the animal ones to the vibrant coloristic ones. To stand out and to be seductive and empowering is definitely the "credo" of Roberto Cavalli. But if we take a look at the last few collections, seems like that factor of exclusivity has been transferred into the more classy and elegance niche revealing the great effortless and eternal spirit for which Italian brands are known for.

The latest Pre-Fall 2020 collection was all about that minimalistic approach with the few steps into the wilderness because still it os Roberto Cavalli, right! The collection was presented in the form of the simple editorial mixed with the menswear too, but as my blog is all about the fashion for women, I have skipped that part in the highlights. The first few looks were long coats cinched in the waistline. They look glamorous and luxurious, especially the one that held the typical Cavalli vibe, the animal prints and textures.

But the majority of the collection was spotted in the niche of simplicity and pure lines. From the edition of the power suit that was drawn more into the sleek lines and cuts rather than the all-around-presented voluminous ones. The chic factor that appealed to Roberto Cavalli's vibes was definitely in the dresses, especially in the mini ones. The flirty factor was on the boost definitely but still on the assertive side if we consider the muted coloristic solutions. The playful fragments of the collection were the ruffled dresses, the jeans-jacket breakdown featured with the jewelry-overload, and the high-knees boots were there just to keep up with that RC famous style!

This collection is definitely a step back from what we used to see from Roberto Cavalli originally. But still, especially in fashion, every transition and change is welcomed if it is played and done right! And here you have the exclusive elegance, the major classic touches but still witty and light edgy concept! So who wouldn´t like that kind of style, right!

Just Cavalli is the brand of the larger one Roberto Cavalli. It is meant to be more oriented on the audience and consumers that are young and more in "Vogue"! The "Mischung" or the eclectic spirit that goes in that sassier way is something that the latest Pre-Fall 2020 is all about. From the graphic white and black ensembles to the more animalistic ones that allure that Roberto Cavalli vibe, or the cool casual solutions. It is all happening in this collection giving us the esprit of effortless style and chicness.

The one thing that undertones this whole collection is the playful side with the forms and cuts. From asymmetric ones to the baggier or more saturated ones. Everything is on the display, like if you would look into the wardrobe of the most stylish person on the street! That is kind of style this collection is all about, being classy but with exciting percussions in the zone of chromatic solutions, fabrics, and heterogenic textures.

The most amazing is definitely the dresses that bring the extra nocturnal chic points on the table. Like the deep V-cut one with the swing in the one-ruffle feature, or the baby-doll one that is kept on the playful note of the spectrum. The central star of the collection was the embellished body-suit that is seethrough! Talking about the sassy moment that was brought to the next level with the snake printed high boots and the same waistline bag! Stunning, simple yet so inspiring!

This collection that was brought in the form of the witty editorial with the black multi-voluminous balloons, is definitely something that has kept the Just Cavalli spirit on. Not just because there were plenty of JC logos in the game. The whole spirit of the collection was fresh, youthful, playful and provocative. But built with the stunning pieces, like the impeccable cut coats or trousers! And it is simply a gorgeous one, indeed!
