LESSONS ON FEMINISM BY PACO RABANNE

If you are familiar with the fashion mainstream, you know what the design of Paco Rabanne is all about. He projects always a fearless woman that is secure in her seduction but in her strength too. In the era of the self-proclaimed fashion "Feminists", the fashion by Paco Rabanne is unpretentious about the strength of a woman who likes to be noticed yet aware of her worth!

And the latest Fall 2020 Ready To Wear collection was in all that Paco Rabanne habitat giving us the modern era urban warrior-ess that has been elevated in so many heterogeneous facets. From the light metal textures that astonished in their micro-fine notes, to the ensembles that allure of at the fluid armor editions.

There were slightly pure romantic pieces like long dresses with dark floral prints. Even the blazer and trouser combination have had that deep melancholic feeling with the structured forms and high collars. This only indicates the neo-baroque touch that was the juxtapositioned in this collection. Metal, shield, armor, knights and dames, well, in this case, only dames. Is there anything more empowering than this!

This collection is a perfect example of how to speak about feminism without being pretentious and in the frame of cheap parole. Some current designers could learn so much from it, for example, __________ fill the blank with the name you want!
(The real fashion connoisseurs will know!)

What do you think about this collection? Which pieces and looks do you find the most interesting?

"LET THEM...WEAR MOSCHINO!"

Moschino and Jeremy Scott have been known for their playful and bold approach in the design sense. The not-so-serious perspective is definitely something that stands out in the sea of the current fashion ethos. Moschino is also known for playing with the neo-concepts of our society and civilizations. To this Italian brand that is the immense source of inspiration that Jeremy Scott plays so seductively.

It seems that for Fall 2020 Ready To Wear collection the connotations we're taken from the historical point of view. The Marie-Antoinette persona that has been known for her saying: "Let Them Eat Cakes!", what appeared the only of the many triggers for the French Revolution. This reference as well as her impeccable style we're the juxtaposition start points of this collection.

Everything was in the Moschino mode yet Baroque-ss-ly underwent and accentuated. The mini-crinolines we're on the point and if they were not brought in Moschino versions, they could easily be worn in this historical Epoque. The gorgeous embroideries, the structured silhouette that was toned down with the modern wisps in the textures like jeans, motorcycle-leathery jackets on the top that was the epitome of the typical Moschino girl! And the experimental echo that screams the Couture spirit, is definitely something that could be seen as the turning point if the fashion that, again has become fearless and inspirational elitistic!

The finish was reserved for the unusually glamorous dresses, especially the red one at the very end. Of course, there were cakes too, the dresses formed just to remind us of that infamous saying. And although just like each collection by Moschino, the playful effect was on the point, if we squint our eyes and scratch under the surface, we will see that this collection in the no tendentious way, screams about the current state of the world that long for a revolution in the spiritual and every possible sense. Maybe this could be the wake-up call, in the Moschino mannerism!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like this concept that goes beneath the usual urban associations?

RICHARD QUINN'S FASHION REVOLUTION

London Fashion Week has been in full spin. With the attitude as the fashion week that is the most courageous when we think about the experimental attribute that is characteristic for it, seems that this year was so far the best one

If we take a look just in the collection that has almost swept away all collections by its innovative artistic idea is definitely the one by Richard Quinn. It seems like with this collection he has unleashed the pushing forward pure fashion ethos that has been gone, well with the sad departure of the iconic Alexander McQueen!

Exactly this kind of neo-McQueen-isms was on the first ensembles sent down the runway. The metallic textures that evoked the villain or knight era in the totally trendy/savage kind if way embodied in the dresses and jackets or pant have hit at the first glimpse what the fashion should be!

That 'Oh, so Couture' moment was gradually stepping down in the favor of the famous Quinn floral prints involved in the rich and opulently voluminous silhouettes. Even the drama was gone when the models were wearing a smile on their faces as the show was going towards the final exits.

And they were only but plein. With the stunning eye for micro-dresses that still allure in all their glamorous glory and with the drama pure indoctrinated version of a wedding dress, Richard Quinn has finalized this collection celebrating the hoy of being The Creator and Designer that has brought a breath of fresh style air in almost common gone quotidian fashion!

What do you think about this collection? Do you think it is too.exoerimwntal for the concept of Ready To Wear?

WILD ROSES BY RODARTE

If there could be a parallel universe where we could choose which fashion bran we would be would definitely be Rodarte! There is something so endeavor and astonishing in the aesthetic of this American brand. The hyper neo-romanticism that is the main leading guideline is definitely what the current fashion needs and Rodarte's imagination seems to be involved with each collection!

And the collection for Fall 2020 was all about that and even more. The dark romantic vibes we're accentuated not just with the ultra-black lipsticks ( here I need to undertone the concept of beauty and makeup that offers that final touch up in the fashion story by Rodarte) but also the concept of deep floral prints, mixed with the drama that goes in the choice of laced textures!

The puffy sleeves and forms overall have brought the monumental spirit of cute decadence that this collection has shown. If you could imagine the even garden with the diastolic interruptions, well this collection was all about that!

Dark yet beautiful, feminine and strong yet gentle and light! The oxymoron that perfectly embodies the art of Rodarte! Beautiful and astonishing! Who would say no to that!

What do you think about this collection? Which ensemble do you like the most?
