LOOSED (W)RAP ELEGANCE BY OLIVIER THEYSKENS

Elegance with attitude! With these words, Olivier Theyskens design from the latest Fall 2018 Ready to Wear collection could be described. With effortless chic brought in the shape of loose silhouetted dresses in the combination with the rock star-studded jackets and coats, it has presented the other side of glam and class which is exciting and not boring at all.

At the first sight, the ensembles were looking modernly grungy. With the satin alike fabrics and textures, this aesthetic aspect was even more on the point. With spaghetti straps on the dresses, the corset alike tops, the chiffon layered dresses, the concept of all-black was really amazing and cool. The robust platforms were there to undertone the urban hype and touch of it.

The contrast was even bigger in the ensembles brought in the more coloristic exciting range. The stunning white laced dress enriched with the light and soft ruffles, the deep violet one in the velvet texture was the perfect spin of the edgy evening wear concept. Or the turquoise blue or vine red. These coloristic interludes were simply amazing and pretty much with the effortless elegance attitude. Not to mention the lady alike tuxedo, with the sleek silhouette, deep cuts, and dandy whisp which was boldly interrupted with, again black platformed shoes.

This collection was brought to us in the form of simple editorial, in which the clothes have the main word. With the dresses in the long form with the fluid silhouette, the easy soft prints, and gentle coloristic range, this collection has everything you need in for looking style-wise on point. With the cozy jackets and coats on the top, the vision of effortless beauty is on the fleek!

The colors are something Longchamp knows about. The range is soft and middle but still with the breathtaking final result. That goes perfectly with the combined and incorporated fringes which give the collection a funny and perky detail. Something that this collection is all about, no doubt that and what the fashion fans will love to wear!

FROM NEW YORK CITY WITH LOVE BY DOLCE & GABBANA

Not a few  months ago, in the Christmas time last year, Dolce & Gabbana have held the fashion show  in London celebrating all what London style was and incorporating it into their signature fashion design. Seems that the location vibes which are so important for Dolce & Gabbana design signature (Sicily traditional aspects of design that has been so important and lucrative for their fashion spirit) have been spread further because their latest Spring/Summer 2019 Resort collection has been made in the honor of the "City That Never Sleeps", New York City and presented in the Metropolitan Museum.

For the fashion creators, there is something so inevitable and exciting when the American culture is the main inspirational code. Raf Simons for  Calvin Klein has emerged perfectly into the fashion scene (re)creating the most stunning collections so far which are inspired by the American culture. If this strive has converted even into the ode to the city which has been for the years the spring for the ultimate urban legends, the collection needs and must to be simply stunning and beautiful!

And it was all of that, and even more. The design conglomerate which was build from the typical D&G accents and New York aesthetic niches has brought us the best from this two picturesque worlds. From the New York architecture, Avenues and Streets panoramas transcended on the most dazzling chiffon canvas, the Statue Of Liberty printed on the luxuriously boosted shirts and dresses, all of these New York topics have been introduced in this collection in the most perky and vibrant D&G way.

The fusion of flowery and crystal crowns, all black ensembles alluring the Sicilian queen "trapped" in New York City fairytale, the modern and urban touches in the coloristic and by prints rich casual jackets, the maxi-golden necklaces giving us that perfect hip-hop Brooklyn vibes, the stunning couture alike opulent gowns interluded with the typical NYC graffiti features.

If anyone can overcome the culture and society differences then that is fashion and this is the perfect example how fashion creates and functions, how it makes people together closer and inspires.
