If we look closely, some of the famous names on american couture scene, like Marchesa, Oscar de la Renta or Jason Wu, they all have in common visual very clean forms without any further stylistic exaggerations. It is pure cutted design solutions, with a hint of elegance in shape of chiffon, lace or very bright colors.
American style and fashion week in general is known for its low key. You will not find any aesthetic revolution in couture but you will defenitely find stylisticly perfect fitted ensembles, very sophisticated and true embodies of celebrating woman and her strength! That is huge and honorable thing for fashion in general!
