Talking about the ultimate feminine vibes! Nothing less we could not expect from Monique Lhuillier. Her sense of making the woman more beautiful and elegant has been fulfilled in the most impeccable and refined way! The proof for that was the latest Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection. With tons of airy and light textures in all white, or for the more drama, in all black tones with floral "disturbances", Monique Lhuillier has continued to take the ultra feminine chic on to the new level!
Slightly see-through lace, the more brocat alike textures, typically Lhuillier chiffon layers, floral symphonies brought in gentle almost aquarelle alike mannerism, the ball gowns featured with another Spring fauna ornaments. These were just few of aesthetic orientations this collection has offered us.
Just as much stunning as the romantic side of the collection, the hit pieces were definitely all black ensembles. Another see-through display with, for the evening more suitable micro shiny details, the ultra opulent black maxi dress with sleek and fine ruffles falling around the decollete in combination with fringed cape a.k.a stola stunne, now that was the true fashion piece stunner. Oh, talking about the fringes! They were the peak of the collection incorporated in the few final dresses; the one in white with silver traces, the stunning gown in lavander color or the eye candy in Adriatic blue!
This collection has once again showed how elegance could be easy to wear. With lots of flowy and light textures, with whisps of colors and prints it really has embodied what Summer/Spring collections were really about and that was the accent on the ready to impress in refined, unpretentious way and style! Pure Monique Lhuillier and we love it!
