The classic and feminine style is something that is so relevant when the word is about the design and fashion sense by Carolina Herrera. The effortless and easy to wear ensembles with the accentuated chic which is mostly in the mainstream fashion borders but never boring or out of style. The modern and contemporary touches of the Carolina Herrera style are always hidden in the forms, in the cuts or like in this collection, the Pre-Fall 2018 one, the colors. The kaleidoscope of the colors is something which this collection has made the ultimate classy with the huge potential for the contemporary trendsetters as well.
The key of the coloristic range was brought in the shape of the dazzling floral shapes and prints. The ultra white canvas was interrupted with the multi-coloristic floral prints ideas on the opulent but fluent dresses and skirts. Here the upgrade and the step from the traditional Herrera style was born. The usual simple coloristic clean solutions were changed into the happy floral appliques. With the big and gro-zoom as well as the popular three-dimensional flowery solutions have offered the perfect and new romantic side of the Herrera style.
The classic length was in the spotlight as well. The maxi-dresses as well as the maxi-coats and maxi-sweaters with the again robust stitches which have recreated the floral concept, again, or the story of the entire collection. The denim solutions were brought as well in the maxi format, in the form of the long and voluminous skirts or three-quarter wide trousers. Seems like the voluminous silhouette was on Herrera mind but still tone down with the accents around the waist making the perfect hourglass shape.
The airy and fluent textures were here mostly present. The usual form of the rather stiff and sculpted solution when the word is about the typical Herrera fabrics and shape was changed into the more light and sheer towards the chiffon oriented forms. The lightness was on the sight in this editorial with the "caught in the move" photo captions which have perfectly shown the easy and breezy nature of the materials and textures.
This collection has presented the new and modern Herrera style. With the plenty of the new romantic features like the floral solutions brought in the wider perspective and in the vibrant coloristic range, this collection has kept the tradition of the deep classic and the whisps of the contemporary and effortless chic what lately is fashion all about! These pieces are something that everyone would like to have in their closet. And more than that we can not ask for!
Do you like this collection? Which dress or ensemble do you like the most? What do you think about the embracing the floral in Carolina Herrera current aesthetics?
Thank you for the attention!
