THE MODERN FASHION SUFFRAGETTES BY DIOR

With the designer, Maria Grazia Chiuri as the leading creative mind of the Christian Dior house of fashion, seems like Dior has crossed the line of the simply fashionable and couture rich fashion towards the fashion name that stands for the woman that is strong and confident almost in the suffragette kind of way. The consciousness of the being a woman has something that Chiuri finds much inspiring and that new side of Dior we honestly love.

The t-shirts display with the printed mojo "We All Should Be Feminists" has been the brave pretentious uvertire into this Pre-Fall 2018 collection for which one word or term could be used when we see the ensembles, and that is androgynous. The Dior which we know like the ultra-feminine and chic fashion name has got the modern and sleek upgrade by this collection which has served us some serious but so refined masculine tones brought and developed in the feminine attire.

The perfectly cut suits, the sleek and polished silhouette, the tweedy textures, the smart and confident layerings, the refined pieces like the origami structured coats and capes or bells alike shaped wide trousers. Oh, when mentioning the silhouette, it was rather sculpted and tough. In the combination with the harsh and masculine textures, it has offered the totally new face of Dior aesthetic. All of that was presented in the form of the simple editorial with the Dior gray colored background.

Already mentioned dresses were the little toned down pieces from this masculine way. Very Dior etherial textures enriched with the fine embellishments, the see-through lace features, the refined evening dresses with easy to wear factor. If anything Maria Grazia Chiuri has brought in the Dior that is the clean and filtered simplicity but with the style warmth and feminine hug. And that is why we love Dior by Chiuri.

This collection celebrates the power of the woman in the sassy but classy way. It could be written a totally new post about Chiuri´s confidence and clear style and design vision. That I will leave for some other time! We need to enjoy this latest collection and admire the women´s worth!
