IS NO MAKEUP MAKEUP NEW BEAUTY TREND?!

Writing and posting texts about newest fashion trends in high end fashion, haute couture and ready to wear, pret-a-porter shows, collections and editorials I have noticed that models don´t wear lot of makeup. Ok, it is make up, but applied so well that it can be seen at the first sight. So I was asking myself, was this a new beauty trend?!

First this type of looks appeared at the haute couture shows, which gave the glamorous and divine luxury couture ensembles more edgy and artistic vibe. But lately I have seen this trend in newest ready to wear collections, and I was really surprised. Maybe the fashion world is full with beauty (social media) gurus that put on their faces tons of products looking cakey and simply too much!

In this new beauty era we talk about sheer and beautiful skin, naturally rose lips and hints of blush on the cheeks. We can not see the heavy makeup on the eyelids, it is really natural, just simple eye contouring or primed lids. Even the highlighter which has lately been so wow-ed in beauty circles has toned down and it looks like sheer within the skin without big illuminating spectacles on the cheekbones.

I have to say, I really like this trend! It is refreshing, purifying and clean! Don´t worry if you don´t have perfect model alike skin. Hide imperfections with smaller brush and concealer, set everything with loose mineral powder and you are ready to go! Natural beauty, finally!
