The same kind vibes were caught in the latest Fall 2019 Couture collection. The royal-worthy aesthetic was boosted with the high glamorous textures and the inevitable detail when we talk about Elie Saab, the ornaments and embroidery. The first look that was presented was the highlight of what in this collection was all about inspiration wise. China and inspiration with Asia were here the accentuated details. The kimono alike version with the layered upper piece and wide trousers and with the sculpted mannerism.
The rich silky textures were there so noticeable. Especially the red sweeping-gown with the voluminous down parts. The opulence was there too but still, the waistline that was accentuated with the wide golden textured belt was there to bring the hourglass silhouette that is so dear to Mr. Saab. Of course, there were the typical Saab gowns with the rich refined micro-embroidery details for which this designer is famous for.
The drama was fuelled with the capes falling dramatically in a strict manner but still toned down with the rare but gold mini-dress edition. The pure exotic glam was enhanced again with the more Asian silhouettes that were sculpted and bold but still very feminine thanks to the sheer belt detail. The high shoulders were there too and in the combination with the cape, it has boosted the drama of the collection. The grand final was brought with the wedding dress that was the Couture symbiosis of Elie Saab and Geisha theme at its finest. The rich embroidery with the rich and rigorous volume was really a breathtaking end of this stunning collection!
