"I AM A STARGIRL" BY BALMAIN

The style brought by Balmain is not for the shy ones. The Balmain aesthetic is on a different note when we talk about the usual French chic. It is fearless, bold and ready to shine at the first notice. Seems like the disco fever which was realized and designed in the modern concept was the main leading idea for the latest Balmain Pre Fall 2018 Collection. Like the usual collections made in the house of Balmain, it has celebrated the youthful and party codes transferred into the next fashion story.

This fashion story was imagined to look like a boosted and hyped Saturday Night Fever kind of style. The cool and urban editorial set was the perfect layout for the dazzling and exciting outfits which were made in the context of the nightwear in the most glamorous way you could imagine. The typical Balmain fashion codes were input in the more textured heavy and heterogenic way with the huge glamorous and luxurious appearances. The embroidery factor was the main point and the focus like in every other Balmain collection but here the X-factor were the shiny embellishments features presented in the most refined and low key way.

The Balmain jackets which have already become the IT style item and have taken the iconic whirlwind on this occasion were upgraded with the shiny appliques, multi-fine fringes, and starstudded fabrics. The silhouette was in the common Balmain range but don´t let that predictable point of few fool you. This time it was much more sculpted and heavier with the accentuated shoulders which have been the standard thing when the word is about Balmain as well as the robust waistlines.

The most breathtaking outfits were in the total glamazonian domain. The sheer textures, ultra-high crotch Instagram worthy boots made of the vinyl. The total PVC seethrough items like a long skirt, vertically striped shirts designed in the same mannerism. Again Balmain has brought up the new future obsession of the fashion fans and consumers. These see-through pieces have looked like the bursting of the trend.

This collection has presented again the new side of Balmain. Plenty of youth code imperatives, the mini dresses, and certain flirty notes have brought the fresh but still the famous Balmain girl, who likes attention, who is a social media star and influencer! I bet some of them will enjoy the new Pre Fall aesthetic in the full swing!
