And, it truly was! The latest Resort 2019 collection is the proof for it! The accentuated volumes, the light deconstructed approach to the whole design and style idea, all beautifully tailored and put together. Of course, there was plenty of the French chic accents. Like the adorable and dazzling colors which glazed impeccably in all-one-colored monochrome ensembles. The dresses in this sense were stop-shower for sure. The easy glam with the slightly refined drama brought through the already mentioned volume richness.
The outstanding and cool were definitely the two-piece outfit made of sleek trousers featured with big cape alike detail. This is something new in Rochas' style code but it is still kept in the limits of Rochas aesthetic which is remarkable, pure refined and well, original. Among the volume one detail which could be sensed as the highlighter were the big bows. Big bows are the big thing lately, recuperating the new modern romanticism which is all over the latest fashion collections. Here they were brought in the uber-big editions which went amazingly on the top/back of the maxi-dresses.
The vision of woman suit is according to Rochas a totally new visual level. With the sleek and neat jacket on the top, this style perfection was interluded with the edgy and playful cut skirt underneath.
