THE GOOD OLD GLAMOUR BY JENNY PACKHAM

You have probably seen how the casual and leisure clothes have been taking the central spot when the word is about the design inspirations. Almost every collection is driven by this non-conventional and easy to wear aesthetic, especially in the Resort area, so when we have the collection that is all about the good old classic glamour we feel it like a breeze of the fresh air. Seems like this connotation was very important to Jenny Packham team when they have created the Resort 2019 collection.

Don´t get me wrong! There is nothing wrong with the casual all-over inspiration that could be spotted everywhere these days but we have to admit that it is really a brave thing to stick with your usual style sense and go through with the high classic glamour when the street style is all over the place in the high fashion mainstream. And one of them is surely Jenny Packham. She has been nurturing her own beautiful and full feminine design with the amazing and dreamy dresses and this Resort 2019 collection is not an exception.

Here, we have everything that we could expect from the one collection in Jenny Packham scenario. The plenty of embellishments, the high glamour, the toned and sleek silhouettes which accent the feminine figure and form. Talking about the form, it is always the minimalistic one with the siren and hourglass cut but the textures are richer and simply glamorous. The more youthful code was definitely in the mini dress and the jumpsuit which have even with the simplicity and the classy approach, still look glamorous and red carpet worthy! 

The vibrant colors are here just to undertone the exquisite and simple beauty of the dresses. From the pink and green, red and royal white, light blue or the silver. With the simply cut on the dresses, there is a little of the romantic touch on the sleeves which are puffy giving the whole picture Golden Hollywood vibes. With the simple hairstyle and makeup, this whole collection has been rounded up in the most refined and spectacular visual sense. Nothing less we didn´t expect from Jenny Packham, no doubt to that!
