RESORT QUEEN BY ELIE SAAB

If we take a look a the first ensemble of the Resort 2019 collection for Elie Saab we could see what the main vision od style was for this Lebanese designer. The high glamour intermixed with the light and elegant casual notes are the first thing that catches our attention. The style of Elie Saab is always so chic and elegant so this collection was not an exception either. The aesthetic of Saab is high fashion and red carpet ready so when we think "casual" in the case of Elie Saab we think about the light textures, sheerness overloads and refined romantic with the star-struck worthy accessories´ game.

But let us go back to the first outfit of the collection. The wide mini-dress with the three dimensional floral, in this case, the daisies´ patterns, followed by the white and black dualism in the coloristic sense and high over knee boots to boost up the whole romantic thing to another style level. All of that round with the beach hat. Pretty dazzling and brave, with the light seductive note! As the collection rolls on, the flowy dresses step on the scene. What is striking about this kind of Elie Saab dresses is that they are so glamorous but yet so easy to wear, the minimum impact on the coziness but the maximum impact in the visual sense.

But that fluent strive was interrupted just with few of more sculpted silhouetted ensembles. Like the red dress with the big ruffles on aside and on the sleeves, or the same one but in the dark pink color. The youthful and modern code was kept in the shape of mini dresses brought in the sleek edition and with the accentuated waist. The ultra glamour effect was presented in the shiny embellishment dresses with the lace texture hidden underneath. The wow-impression was rounded up with the outstanding clutch bags which have corresponded in the same coloristic scheme as the ensembles!

This collection has shown how the ultimate glamour is kept even in the Resort collections. Elie Saab has the aesthetic codes that he nurtures and respects which is ok, because in today´s era of everywhere presented casual-wear, the fact that someone has brought the whole collection in the one high glam standard is really refreshing reminding us what the high fashion was, and hopefully, still is!
