THE VINTAGE FASHION STORY WITH EDGE BY ERDEM

There is something so nostalgic and quite story-telling in the case of the design made by Erdem. The vintage spirit is something that has become so dear to this London based fashion house. But that nostalgic is not old or late. Uncontrary! It is fresh, contemporary and so high elegant. In the world when fashion has been so deep into the casual vibes, Erdem has stayed to itself and has been nourishing the romantic and the pure classic fashion style that is so inviting and not assertive at all.

That feeling was presented and kept so vivid in the latest Pre-Fall 2019 collection. With the dress as the main piece around which the whole design and style story has its own juxtaposition, the romantic wisps, and the parameters of Erdem aesthetic must be existing in the area of the nice dressing where the imperative is to be elegant but youthful and vibrant. This style of spirit is kept in the floral on the floral prints, especially here where the floral motives are situated on the socks too. The floral synergy dictates the easy-going approach on the colors, so in Erdem even in this collection, we see the deep shades with the few interruptions of the light pink.

The dresses are in the length midi or maxi. With the sleek silhouette for the daily looks or the more flowy ones connected with the more night elegance, the dictate of the dress in the story of Erdem is inevitable and it never really gets boring. The cute suited jackets and blouses are there just to top the imperative of the deep classy fashion that we so much like. With the cool display in the editorial with the Ancient Greek sculptures in the back, this whole editorial gives us the pure fashion delicates! And we love it!
