What Alessandro Michele has been creating in the house of Gucci is definitely the pure act of the design art. His vision of the fashion that is more than just the clothes, the image of the high stylistically perfection but still so deep and re-told, is something that has been the code for the new Gucci. And not just that. In all this fashion-meets-art kind of story, Gucci has never been more successful and well loved. Just if you take a look in any photo of Instagram "influencers" you could see that they rock at least one of Gucci item.
But seems like Alessandro Michele just does his stuff and creates the most outrageously beautiful collections that look or appear hectic only at the first glimpse. Yes, his vision is always in the frames of the vintage design but that vintage is created with the most improbable perfect cut and tailored pieces. Otherwise, the "messy" vibe would indeed look too much and non-reliable. The same case was with the Pre-Fall 2019 collection. The vintage hybrid kind of nature here was on the scene all the way. Even the textures were in the mix-and-mash kind of positions, yet this collection allures the pure spirit of the modern Gucci.
Something that Alessandro Michele likes are definitely the prints. And the more colorful the better. This time the prints-clash was avoided and we have had unique mono-prints kind of looks on the jackets and trousers and dresses, too. Even when the word was about the one-color situation, like the light yellow wide voluminous dress or the Barbie-pink ensemble of faux leather skirt, blazer and coat on the top, the spirit of edgy and vibrancy was held with the multi-textures or the accessories which have made the cult status in the social media snaps!
The nature of Gucci aesthetic in this collection has been the diversity of the daily wear that is edgy and visually boosting. But in the nightwear segments seems like the spirit of unpredictable is more low key. The long dresses that are rather romantic with the Gothic or Victorian resemblance, the silky textures of them, the hearted prints. All of that has colored the nightwear on the more loosed-up side of the fashion story. For Gucci the woman likes fashion but it is also fearless and secure in her style. It is less on the seductive side but more on the fashion connoisseur kind of partition.
With all of that Gucci has once again presented the most colorful collection in all its glory. Showing us the beauty of style, of the game of the dressing up, in Gucci world, all of this has been boosted in a way of no-pretentiously creating trends and new fashion editions that will be loved by so many consumers!
What do you think about this collection? Do you like the aesthetic of the vintage style that Gucci has been serving lately? Which ensemble do you like the most?
Thank you for the attention!
