Seems that Alberta Ferretti for Resort 2020 was in this kind of mode. The orientation was on the more casual spin and variations of the ensembles. So there were plenty of cozy trousers, from the wide and long to the shorts. The casual accent was toned down with the romantic and airy textured blouses on the top. Even when the concept was edgier and new, like all-leather looks in the coral red, the factor of elegance was on the high level.
The beauty of a woman is something Alberta Ferretti adores and doesn´t hold down to show. So the most iconic pieces are her dresses. Even in this case, of Resort 2020, the dresses were boosted with the fluid silhouette. The summer friendly all-white ones were definitely the stars of this collection. Not to mention the refined richness in the fabrics, that was in the niche of cotton but in the final realization so glamorous and chic friendly!
Seems like all-whites were more saturated in the domain of daywear. For the night out, the IT piece was still a dress but this time in the gentle coloristic editions. From dark pink, deep blue or maritime green. Even the black one in the long length looked so easy and vibrant thanks to the textures that were, in this case, more glamorously interpreted. The layers of chiffon, the ruffles on ruffles, the micro-embellished shiny appliques. Or for the grand finale, fringes and pure satin. The flowy nature mastered in cute motion, and you have got the perfect summer gear!
This collection has defined once again how Alberta Ferretti sees a woman. She is casual and with attitude, yet very glamorous and no doubt breathtaking. And all of that with the simplicity in the design and style! Something that each woman can relate too!
