NYFW: OSCAR de la RENTA 2020 S/S COLLECTION

New York Fashion Week has been going on for the last few days. Plenty of fashion designers have presented their collections, some of them were the new names, some of them were the epitome of New York Fashion Week elite! In this last concept, the name of Oscar de la Renta has been involved highly as the most remarkable and promising. And still after a few years that Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia have been on the head of this fashion house, the name of Oscar de la Renta as the synonym of the high glam, is definitely something to be admired at!

The collection for Spring/Summer 2020 was definitely in the famous range of causal beauty and impeccable style! If we add to all of that the modernity that has come along with this creative directing duo, we need to say that this collection was really a little masterpiece! From the light and silky textures that required the breezy freshness as the final result, or the more conceptual ones brought in the form of the laced features that accentuated Latin vibe that this fashion name holds on to, in Oscar de la Renta they have really nailed it!

Especially when it comes to the evening dresses. They were more sculpting in the volume as well as the bolder in the forms. The organza fabric has accentuated not only the gorgeousness of it all but the deep cuts on the side as well as the seductive note of the corsets that in this case, they looked light, unbothered and free! Definitely, a collection that has embodied the Oscar de la Renta spirit with the new hints of the style evolution which Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia have no doubt brought! Perfect and suave, what else could we ask for!
