Some kind of different chic! With these words, the style by the fashion brand Altuzarra could be described. The ability to look stunning and still so effortless great is definitely something that in this fashion brand has mastered. The textures that are bold and yet so refined are definitely the trademark when it comes to the name of Altuzarra. The concept of a woman that is urban yet so glamorous at the same time, is the high and prior focus if we ask the creative designer of the house, Joseph Altuzarra.
The same kind of vibes was on the display in the latest Fall 2019 Ready To Wear collection. The first look that has opened the show that was held during the Paris Fashion Week in March, was definitely a prototype of Altuzarra look; the motorcycle alike jacked with the faux fur paired on the airy and flowy textured ensemble made of a long skirt and blouse in the at the first look same but at the closer look, different print that was inspired by Oriental touch. The suede pointy boots that in some shorter outfits appeared like high-overness ones wait patiently to be the IT item of the influencers on your Instagram feed when Fall hits!
Yes, talking about the hit! The cherry red shiny leather combination of the jacket and baggy pants tightened in the ankle, with the exotic printed blouse underneath. That was the pure Altuzarra sensation. If you think that maybe a coat would be a nice purchase for Fall, then the one by Altuzarra in the same deep red color with the black arabesque-ish leopard prints. All you need is edgy belt and you are set to go! And that was exactly what kind of looks were served on this show. This collection bursts with the statement pieces so adding to that coat the buckle bag in the same chromatic solution is definitely a pure eye-catcher!
And making the statement pieces is definitely not the only amazing thing that Altuzarra knows. The dresses are for sure something special and different in this case. The all ruffled texture with the mini and the tiny pleats in the golden color is really something to be inspired by. Or the ruffled skirt with the top tucked neatly in it, that is no doubt some other kind of chicness, that it is still inviting and coziness friendly! Or the same pleated texture in the bronze color and with one-shoulder off! The duality of the Altuzarra concept, to be cozy yet to look stunning is the secret and the reason why this brand is so well loved by the consumers and the fashion critics!
This collection has shown how to be elegant yet free and always on the go! Altuzarra simply knows the secret of the urban woman that likes to be dressed but also doesn´t slave to the trends! With the impeccable realization and the tailorings that are rich not just in the structure but in the texture, this collection was shown once again why we adore Altuzarra!
What do you think about this collection? Do you like the mixture of chic and casual? Which outfit or piece do you like the most?

PRADA KNOWS THE BEST
We all know that no one makes the best simulacrum of fashion prints and textures. Prada design is so sophisticated and urges for that extra gen of refinery. And that refinery is not pretentious in any kind of way. Miuccia Prada creates above the fashion, her design is always something more than just pure fashion. Her sense of style decrypts the society in a very prints-happy way, creating the pulse of the modern woman no just in the fashion sense. It is a fashion of the sustainable message that accents the quality over quantity.
The latest Resort 2020 collection was not an exception. It was very simple and plain, fresh and modern at the same time. The coats were in the main focus as well as the midi dresses that were airy and free in the silhouette. Very deliberating and relaxing was in the choice of the materials too. The main texture was in the cotton. The diversity was there only in the case of the prints. We all love the sense for prints by Prada. No one makes more stunning the prints on prints clash that still looks so polished and smart.
The first look was in all that mannerism. The deep blue coat with the double breast-buttons on the front. Simple, very uniform alike. Only "rule-breaker" was the white and red scarf made of the micro-knit and with the circle plastic alike attachments on the surface. And to give this whole look the edgier push, on the feet were sneakers with robustly-knitted short socks underneath.
This similar style display was continued with the layers and layers kind of the approach. The dress and the shirt on the top but because of the cotton texture, everything appeared so light and breezy! The prints in the pleated form were also light blue, brown or green. Everything has had the look of the effortless urban getaway. And that was the intention of Ms. Prada, no doubt to that! The silhouette was going in that direction of the non-bother kind of direction. But as said. In Prada, that only looks like it is simple. It is complex and stylistically on point!
This collection was a different kind of Prada Resort. It was on the same path when we talk about the smart layerings and prints´ heterogenic nature. The texture was very simple and effortless, simplicity, not in a minimalistic, but Prada eclectic way! Another beautiful and stunning collection, indeed!
What do you think about this collection? Do you like Prada design? Which outfit do you like the most?

CHANEL RESORT 2020 COLLECTION
In the house of Chanel this Resort 2020 collection, was not like any other. It was the first one without the famous Karl Lagerfeld as a creative director. The fashion show must go on, Karl would be the first to undertone and to agree with that, so this collection was created by his assistant Virginie Viard. Virginie Viard was Lagerfeld´s right hand for thirty years, so she was the first and obvious choice for the role of the creative director. So this fact says so much. And this collection was telling a lot, too!
Although Virginie Viard was very introduced into the aesthetic made by Karl Lagerfeld, her vision was a little bit different. Ok, we may say that the attitude of diversity that is so common for Resort collections, was a must in this case, but still, the over-all design picture and concept was little different and somehow modern, new and fresh. This more homogenous and low-key concept was on the sight in the case of the fashion runway. If you are anyhow familiar by the fashion you know how megalomanic and stage rich the scene for a runway was when Karl Lagerfeld was there. This time, the scene was almost minimalistic, without any stage requisites. Maybe this gesture was intentional and pretentious so that the audience could be concentrated on the clothes.
Oh, yes, talking about clothes. Well, as I mentioned above, it was different yet so Chanel. The first look that is always taken as the prototype or the highlight motif of the whole collection, was in this case, plain and simple in the texture in the white-black chromatic solution with the wide trousers, simple blouse and two-line buttons blazer. But most importantly what has caught the eye is the lack of the popular tweed material that Lagerfeld adored to use at almost every ensemble. Not just in the case of the first look but in the case of the most outfits, the materials were new and fresh. From the cotton that screams for the simplicity to the vinyl or chiffon ones that screams contemporary and capable!
The innovative item was definitely the midi-trousers aka Bermudes that were incorporated so perfectly in the urban yet elegant style story. They were more in the mannerism of the casual meets office look but with the sleek coat on the top in the vibrant coral or featured with the ultra big bow on the front, stands out in the more glamorous clothing domain. And as I mentioned the glamour part, the dresses were very refined and delicate. They were easy-breezy to wear with the flowy and airy silhouette. The very adorable were floral attachments on the last few that have given the perfect spin on the Camelia chic!
This collection has embodied the true nature of fashion! The fashion is "Perpetuum Mobile" and this was the proof for that. No matter how big Karl Lagerfeld was, and his legacy still remains, no doubt to that, the vision of Virginie Viard is somehow different, and we like it! Simple, accessible, yet quirky and playful in the accessories domain! The future knows the best what is next for Chanel! But now, in the current context, it looks really promising and relatably beautiful!
What do you think about this collection? Do you find the style design by Virginie Viard similar to Karl Lagerfeld ones, or do you think it is completely different?

CHRISTIAN DIOR RESORT 2020 COLLECTION
It is that time of the year when Resort collections kick off. Resort collections are like the pre-collections, the collection in between the big Ready To Wear or Haute Couture fashion weeks. They are inspired by the holiday vacations and destinations, so the spectrum of the inspiration is huge and numerous. This year Dior was the first one who has shown Resort collection and this collection was all about the different kind of aesthetics and inspirations that still aspired in the frame of the typical Dior design in the visual direction by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
One thing that is also very common for Resort collections is that they are often presented from the usual headquarters and are transferred in the part of the world where likely you would go on holiday or vacation. This year the choice by Dior was Marrakech in Maroko. This fact could predict what kind of aesthetic there would be in the spotlight. The imperative of the usual aesthetic codes is something that is not a must. In contrary to the design and the style that we usually have on the display, this time the collection was inspired by Oriental embroideries and textures.
The textures were more heavy embroidered in the tapestry kind of way. The embroidery was fine but still very robust with the tons of Oriental motifs. The silhouettes were on the same kind of page, they were more opulent and heavy but still with that Dior refined attitude! Mostly long dresses were in combination with the midi coats each with its own prints´ signature. Although this description might seem like a pure prints´ clash because they were so refined and fine, the semi-look appeared totally polished and in this sense monochrome.
Talking about the monochromes. They were in this collection, in the form of the long non-waistline dresses that looked almost like the night-gowns in, again, totally Oriental vibe. The colors were muted, more on the deep side like moonlight blue, mustard yellow and brown. As the collection was going to its climax, the typical Dior spirit was on the sight. The all-white gorgeous dresses in the lace edition were the stars of the show. Something like that, so delicate and gorgeous, clean and homogenous was simply beautiful and breathtaking. With the final few pieces in the totally Dior mannerism with the sheer hues and textures and waistline accents.
This collection was far the most complexed one by Dior. The synergy of exotic culture how it was respectfully incorporated in the vision of Dior, that was really amazing and stunning! It was really one of the most gorgeous Resort collections of this season and it has set the bar really high!
What do you think about this collection? Do you like this theme of the Resort concept? Which look do you like the most?
