"BRAVE-STYLE" BY BALENCIAGA

To move from the expectations and already known fashion codes sometimes is hard in the fashion business. Let me undertone the "business" because as much as we, the fashion lovers and fans see only the exterior side of it, the struggle to bring something new and innovative in the already jaded world of fashion is sometimes difficult and full of challenges. Balenciaga is a really anthological fashion name with huge aesthetic tradition so to invent something new with the modern and contemporary almost ready to experiment style is really a brave thing.

This style virtuosity was the main leading point of the Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection. With Demna Gvasalia as the fashion designer on the head seems like Balenciaga have converted into the pure reflection of the quirky and witty personality of this designer. With the roots of the post-Soviet Georgia, growing in the Germany Demna Gvasalia has soaked up the best of two cultures and summed up into his fashion vision.

It is hard not to talk about the designer when he has made this kind of collection which was strong in the visual sense, loosed up in the approach of the total concept of the fashion and still packed up with the most stunning pieces which were presented lately in any fashion collection. The "breaking bad" concept with the mixture of prints, volume on volume, with the amazing foot-fetishism accents. This collection was the fashion postmodern spin-off with the rebellious concept but still very dazzling and admiration worthy.

The uber-voluminous capes alike coats with the more voluminous details like big bows around the neckline, the puffy sleeves, not to forget the wide and wider trousers with the mission to be lost in the space accentuating the casual mode of the collection. The funny prints on the sheer and chiffon dress like the dollars signs and the tops with the Balenciaga logo on them undertoned the lucid urban vibe of the whole collection.

But the stars were the accessories! The ultra big baggy bags, the pointy and spikes embellished shoes, the statement earrings, the heavy and numerous charms bracelettes´. These details were the highlights in which the whole spirit of the collection was reflected and that was the brave, edgy and outside the boxes style! I can not wait for the new fashion delicious fashion treats from the Balenciaga! Only the sky is the limit, no doubt it!
