Dolce & Gabbana take over London! Just a few days after the Italian fashion duo have "designed" the Christmas tree in front of the Harrods and the windows for the upcoming holidays Domenico and Stefano have presented the new "Alta Moda" by Dolce & Gabbana collection in their renewed London store. What a better occasion than that one to design the high-end pieces with the theme of London and British style and fashion in general.
The two colossal strives in the fashion influence sense, the Italian chic and the British spirit for the impeccable style were the main leading design domains for this collection which could easily be named "From Dolce & Gabbana" with love or even more suitable "D&G love London"! The endless inspiration of the British fashion style sense and spirit were on the sight through the eyes of the famous Italian high fashion duo.
This collection was a true ode to the British style mixed with the trademarks by Dolce & Gabbana. The London fashion vibes which were seen through the eyes of designers who in a visual sense celebrate Italy and nourish the traditional Sicilian aesthetic mixed with the modern style influences were dazzling and stunning incorporated to this fashion dedication to London.
The vibrant "Love London" prints on the t-shirts and luxuriously textures dresses, the shiny embellished Union Jack like the main highlight of the beautiful sleek gowns and pencil skirts. The tweed fabrics with so British warmth but boosted with playful and edgy Dolce & Gabbana prints. The archaic looks inspired by the London saloon ensembles and Jane Austin´s characters brought in the modern light. The must-have when the word is about Dolce & Gabbana, the crown alluring the Queen Elisabeth´s imperial toned down style all featured with the iconic D&G red lips and accentuated eyes. Not to forget to mention the rich embroidered textures in gold.
This collection was the perfect holiday gift from Dolce & Gabbana to London. Mixing the famous and cult British visual instances with already known D&G style has brought the new collection which celebrates the beauty of two fashion forces. The symbiotic British-Italian mix was successfully done giving us the best WOW fashion moments. We hope that this kind of style love will not be the last.
What do you think about this collection? Do you like the interpretation of British and London fashion by the famous Italian duo Dolce & Gabbana?
Thank you for the attention!
