WELCOME TO THE MAD-FASH BALL BY DAVID FERREIRA

The fashion sky is full of the young designers that are not in the center of fashion empire but are slowly getting there. The one thing that is so amazing about the young designers is that they are free in their creative strives, they can clearly and faithfully realize their aesthetic vision without concerning the fashion market. One of the names that truly nourish their creative idea is the Portuguese designer  David Ferreira. Having on the mind that he worked for the epitome of the experimental fashion in the mainly Haute Couture area Iris Van Herpen David Ferreira has found his own design signature full of vivid and playful sides.

If we look closely at his latest Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection presented at the last New York Fashion Week we can see the big Couture impact and high fashion spirit involved in his work. It is almost unimaginable that there was the word about Ready To Wear collection but that is what makes this designer so special and makes his work so promising and exciting.

The Couture mannerism brought into the everyday concept of the clothing is really the brave one but this is the fashion for the pure fashionistas who which their outfits and ensembles celebrate the festivity of fashion. Just the silhouette offered there was so sculpted and tailored in an impeccable way with lots of micro-prints. Even if the texture was clean and polished the cuts were opulent and very theatrical but in a good way.

The avant-garde spirit of the collection was accentuated by the face masks worn by the models or the painted white and red portions of the face. The models look like the modern, concrete female samurais lost in the Baroque/futuristic ball of fashion dolls. There was something so theatrical and stunning in the ensembles. But the star of the collection was the first all-red gown brought in the tons of ruffles. If we could sum up what David Ferreira style was all about this gown could be the prototype of his marvelous design! As you can see fashion has so much to offer and here is the best prove!
