MICRO DRESSING BY SAINT LAURENT

The fashion industry always challenges the upcoming designers to be innovative, to offer something new to the scene, to give that spark for which the fashion is all about. That mission is even harder if the fashion designer needs to fulfill the steps of the already established fashion brand. To be innovative but to respect the style and aesthetic ideology of the famous fashion brand is a really tough job.

With that challenge seems to cope really well Anthony Vaccarello. To be the fashion designer of the  Saint Laurent fashion house which style point of view has been so anthological and it has gone to the fashion stardom is really the job you need to keep up with. Well, this challenge was something Vaccarello has accepted gladly and jumped into it with the full fashion joy and excitement.

This style boldness was on the sight at the latest Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection. With modern and chic visual vision which asks for maintained silhouette and style approach, this collection was the pure hit. The urban and contemporary disco fever nourished with plenty of fringes, puffy details, sleek micro mini skirts, sheer bra tops under the airy cape alike blouses. The mostly oriented nightwear looks with the plenty of black, shiny appliques, leather was the main domain of the new Saint Laurent design.

The fact that the typically Yves Saint Laurent aesthetic was presented in the hints, like the caftan alike cape and blouses, the sharp-shouldered jackets or simply the fashion dictation of the ultra-modern young woman which fashion pulse was recognized by the current fashion designer at Saint Laurent. The fact that Saint Laurent still stands for the classy but sassy woman which has the strong style standards and knows her path is so YSL.

This collection has brought them plenty of micro pieces. The main thing was the mini skirt, the mini hot pants with the puffed silhouette, the mini tops but with turbo voluminous details like the sleeves. The fringes of the knee boots were strong feature and light-motif of the collection. The vivid and playful style with refined approach was the main leading point for this collection. Young, beautiful and fearless! That could be the style MOJO of this collection! And why not! It was simply dreamy, excellent and dazzling!
