But for those fashion connoisseurs who know about fashion a little more, the latest collections by Elie Saab are heterogenic in their visual nature and almost look a little revolutionary swing if we take a parallel between those collections and earlier ones. One thing which has become a constant when the word is about Haute Couture by Elie Saab is that his design style is not too extravagant or dramatic. Elie Saab simply makes the most beautiful Couture, and that is it. But still, this collection hides, or represents, the new features in his style and vision which make his design artfully considered, a little exploringly conscious and revolutionary in the codes of Saab design writing!
First, what catches our eyes are the silhouettes and we can see that in the first ensemble which was presented on the runway. The stunning synergy of the masculine and feminine, and by that I mean the light voluminous trousers featured by the glamorous cape alike detail. The classic Saab touch was in the ruffles on the top and waistline accentuated with the tiny belt, which have given to the silhouette that classic Saab effect.
The dramatic and mysterious but slightly sculpted nature of the capes goes on, on the next ensemble with the puffy shoulders and sheer high elegant dress underneath. With the lace, this dress evocates the good old Saab style which was boosted with the stunning embroidery. And here, when we mention the embroidery, we talk about the next change. Lately, Elie Saab likes less lace and cleaner silky textures. These gowns have the more sculpted aura giving the whole Saab design a new and fresh nature.
The asymmetric form with the shorter upfront and the longer backside is something which has become a constant thing lately in Elie Saab design. This form is edgier and steps out from the whole classic approach which Saab Couture is all about. Then as the fashion show has gone till its end, there were displayed the typical micro-embroidered dresses with the shiny appliques and refined and delicate nature. The sculpting echo was undertones in the end with the wedding dress which was impeccably opulent in the ball gown and net alike ornaments on the front, just to accentuate the new, artistically rounded collection.
With the whole heterogenic and different editions, this collection has shown the stunning Haute Couture. For those who like the Elie Saab signature, this is still that famous glamorous design but with the new and light innovative alterations, this collection is on the right way to collect sympathy in the other, not just Saab circles!
