MULTI-FACETES OF MIU MIU FEAT. CELEBRITIES ON THE RUNWAY

When the word is about Miuccia Prada the expectations are high. Her sense of diversity in every possible way has become her trade sign a long time ago. So the sister label of Prada, Miu Miu has the same vibe, for sure. We could see that in the latest Resort 2019 Collection. The heterogenic approach which was on the perfect side was seamlessly done, the lightness and the chic experiments, which have been a must when the word is about Miuccia Prada design, in this collection have blossomed again.

This time that dose of the excitement was definitely on the models on the runway. The star-studded A-list Liga from the iconic Naomi Campbell, Kate Bosworth, Alexa Chung, Uma Thurman at the very end and much more, have toned up the vivid side of this collection! There is something so attitude-full when the clothes are worn by the celebrities. Their personality transfers into the items they wear so the ensembles become a totally new and different kind of vibe.

Seems that this heterogenic approach on the models has toned down the fashion. Miu Miu in this collection has shown us more toned down aesthetic with the lack of the famous prints clashes and textures too. Here we have had the more simplified collection with the cute pieces like the baby-doll dresses, the sports variation of Miu Miu lady in the cut shorts and the polo shirt. The step outside the known zone which is so relevant for Miuccia Prada has been featured in this case too, with the sweater worn above not just this casual combination but on the top of the very elegant evening dresses paired with the cozy slippers.

If you have thought that this style conglomerate is too much, don´t worry! Everything still looks polished and on point! The trick was in the choice of the much simple textures which were plain and refined, like the satin, chiffon, washed out jeans or animal mini prints! Oh, the animal print which was popping constantly but in a low-key manner was definitely the cats´ prints. On the casual but sculpted formed jackets, on the elegant evening dresses which have given this whole collection that famous Miu Miu playful and edgy note!

It is fascinating to see how the fashion is always on the constant roll of something new. Here we have had the clash of causal, sports and evening elegant ensembles and pieces. With the famous faces on the runway, which have made the total spin in the recipient area, the nature of this collection has become so multi-faceted, embodying what Miu Miu aesthetic really is, and that is the confident, free-spirited, edgy yet classy style! And we simply adore it!
