Stella McCartne4y design is all about that feeling of being effortless and spontaneous with the generated consciousness of the sustainable fashion. This term "sustainable fashion" has been lately all over the fashion portals alluring at the fashion that has the accents on the quality considering the planet Earth. For Stella McCartney that has been creating this kind of fashion from her starts, this is a must and almost an immanent characteristic of her design. Her choice of textures and materials is very selective and nature-friendly, and that has been for years now. It is amazing that other mainstream fashion labels and names have occupied their interest in this area. But it is even more amazing that this kind of eco-friendly sustainability has been present in Stella McCartney´ design.
So let us talk about the latest collection by Stella McCartney. It is time when most fashion houses present their Resort collections, so for Stella McCartney, this collection was brought in the light of the celebration of nature pure. The concept of editorial with the models displayed on the nature layout was the perfect accent of what this collection was all about! The airy and free silhouettes that were mostly in the juxtaposition for not just this collection, but for SM style in general, were there in the stunning conjunction with the "nature is our legacy" kind of approach. The jacket-parka at the beginning of the collection was the perfect example for the ethereal and simple yet so stylish and well, polished!
In addition to that style refinery, there was the all-white suit that looked crispy and fresh. The jumpsuits that have become a favorite item of Stella McCartney because of they undertoned effortless chicness and class were there too! In the more earthy-tones or if you prefer modern ones, in the distressed jeans variation. Everything here was bursting with the attitude, especially in the mode of the coats. The coats by Stella McCartney are sassy, powerful yet so non-pretentious. The secret is hidden in the light accentuated shoulders, vibrant colors like the violet one or texture like faux-fur in mellow brown!
If you search for more feminine and classy elegance, no problem! Just the glimpse at the dresses gives you the inspiration and concept of the easy-elegance! I mean, the yellow one made of the three-dimensional flowers is definitely something else! Or the all-over printed one with the vibrant colored graphic solutions! Or if you are more of the minimalistic kind of type. The mocha-white mini-dress with the clean lines in the structured form could be definitely something you would adore! And all of that in the love and for the love of Earth!
What do you think about this collection? Do you like the concept of sustainable fashion? Which look do you like the most?
