There is something very light and fresh about Stella McCartney design. The unpretentious leisure notes brought to the new glamour level is a major thing in Stella McCartney vision of style. With comfort as the imperative but with the stepping outside the style comfort zone, definitely, McCartney knows how to inhale the luxury side to her more laid-back fashion concept.
And the same thing could be spotted at the Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection held in Paris a few days ago. Having on mind the more athleisure approach to it, the imperative and the all-around silhouettes were much airy and voluminous. This floating aura could be sensed in the dresses which were simple but ornamented with intriguing and interesting ruffles game. The ruffles have given to this aspect chic unpolished glamour which of which this was bursting of!
But the stunning side of the collection was hidden in the details. Amongst the already mentioned drapping ruffles, the accents were on the unexpected cuts on the waists, the oversize necklines and bold shoulders and graphic happy prints. The starstruck motifs were in the form of monochrome vibrant colors like red, blue and orange. The black one was also on the sight but featured with an astonishing mixture of chiffon and leather on the dresses or with interesting ruffles spikes on the trousers. The denim was there too. Colored and washed out alluring the retro eighties and nineties forms!
This collection was perfect! With leisure and laid-back concept, it has brought the new fresh side to Stella McCartney design. With level high on the glamour scale but with level up in the casual concept too! This collection has had everything you need for day to night! And it was meant for women who love the style but love original approach to it! With Stella McCartney, you can never go wrong!
What are the best items in this collection? Do you love the laid-back glamour which was presented there? What would be your favorite ensemble from this show?
Thank you for the attention!
