PFW: BALMAIN S/S 2019 READY TO WEAR

Balmain knows certainly how to make the empowering-female wardrobe. The ensembles by Balmain are really fearless, strong, bold, showstopping for sure. Yet, they are impeccably done and with the depth that is more than being just a beautiful clothing. And if some designers have stepped into the #MeToo movement via empowering prints on the white tees, well Balmain has more refined and glamorous way of doing that. The long dresses, the opulent voluminous forms, the shiny textures, and statement jewelry. All of that has become a "telos" or embody of Balmain concept which with every collection elevates even more in the gorgeous fashion stratosphere!

The same "logos" in the design sense was re-surfaced in the latest Spring/Summer 2019 Ready To Wear collection by Balmain. The first look which was worn by Cara Delevigne was strong and conceptualized version of satin luxurious pajama. And here we had the perfect and so Balmain maneuver, the pure from metal made top shield which in the contrast with the gentle and light texture of satin PJ really looked like a stylistically oxymoron. This look hides the concept of Balmain woman. She is gentle, refined and smooth, but she is also tough, strong and brave. Like an urban warrior-ess!

The metal/fabric structured conglomerate was on the go on the next round of looks via mini dress with wide shoulders and rough pointed ends. The more lavishing and in the so Couture mode was all white dress with the structured fan a.k.a "abanico" alike feature. Then there was a part with washed out jeans pieces. The omnipresent midi trousers trend was on the scene too but in the Balmain kind of way, paired with the uber-long leather boots in nudes just to give this whole casual concept a seductive chic note.

The structure is something that has been an incorporated face of Balmain style. Their famous Balmain blazer which in this collection has become a refresh with the more accentuated approach on the shoulders and in the length which in this case was rocked like an edgy version of a little black dress. And in this collection, the imperative of the structure was on the peek. The structured almost architectural silhouettes which celebrate not just the beauty of fashion but the beauty of a woman with the geometrically details not just on the forms but on the prints too!

The Balmain Theorem, that could be the name of this collection for sure! It shows how to be beautiful, original, how to stand out, how to speak loudly with your style. All of that in the mathematically well rounded and built looks. And we are again proud to be in love with Balmain Army!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like the structured silhouettes here? Which ensemble do you like the most?

Thank you for the attention!

PFW: CHLOE S/S 2019 READY TO WEAR COLLECTION

When we talk about Chloe we definitely need to say that in Chloe Natacha Ramsay-Levi knows how to approach to the effortless style. She really builds a new sense of the modern and contemporary casualism which is still in the domain of simply gorgeous and lavishing ensembles which are also very comfortable almost like wearing the most luxurious cashmere or silk. The concept of layers in which Chloe was so good at it seems that has left the building a.k.a the aesthetic postulates since Natacha Ramsay-Levi has come to Chloe. The latest Spring/Summer 2019 Ready To Wear collection was in the same style nice, effortless, new, fresh, vivid and conceptualistic rich.

Her vision was definitely making the fashion version of the modern pilgrim-ess and the upgraded approach to the boho beauty. The long maxi-dress in beige white with the rope belt hanging nonchalantly around the waist and asymmetrically cut sleeves was the first look of the show. This could be the visual epitome of what the whole collection was all about. A polished hippy look with the luxurious fabrics, stunning vibrant prints which have corresponded perfectly the bohemian chic theme. The more stunning were the two-piece ensembles made from oriental maritime-themed tops and sleek on the sidecut pencil skirts. This look could definitely be a part of the Resort collection because of the way how the style was delivered. It screams luxury, glamour but in the nonpretentious and easy-wear way.

Another level of beautiful were the dresses which were inspired by a modern Greek goddess. As you can observe and notice all in this collection screams modern although the themes were already known and seen. But the way how Ramsay-Levi builds it has definitely the touch of innovation in the visual sense. In this case, the innovation was definitely the ultra-mini ruffles which were another new and fresh upgrade way to refresh this already known concept. The deep cut on the cleavage, the cape alike flowy feature which moves in the go, is something we want to see more of. Or the same beauty but in all-white version this time high collar and stones ornaments under the decollete.

This collection, although is only third by Natacha Ramsay-Levy for Chloe shows how conscious and sure Ramsay-Levi is in her aesthetic and her style visions. She delivered the collection which was the pre-visualization of the already concept of a boho style but brought it in the freshest and exciting way. Her ability to present her own signature in the fashion house which has already had its own strong concept and signature is something worth admiration and shows that in Chloe we will see much more innovations and gorgeous collections like this one!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like this neo-hippy concept? What about dresses, do you like the light form of them and soft colors in which they were brought?

Thank you for the attention!

PFW: SAINT LAURENT S/S 2019 READY TO WEAR COLLECTION

Taking again a nocturnal spin on Parissiene nights with the scene built next to Eiffel Tower, which has become a tradition slowly in the latest Saint Laurent collections. And that stage has definitely something to do with the inspiration and design leading motives in the house of Saint Laurent. Black, short, rock, rebellious, street-glam that lives in the known and unknown streets of Paris. This has lately become the fashion in Saint Laurent. So witty, edgy, youthful and star-stud worthy. The same case was with the latest Spring/Summer 2019 Ready To Wear collection.

There is something so appealing and inviting in all black ensembles. Especially if they are boosted with the strong seductive, I-don´t-give-a-f&%# mode. If you think that you will see the traditional, the hints of the famous Yves style, well you are wrong! One thing that is common with that and today Saint Laurent is the fearless and totally-non-assertive femininity. This glam is up-front, brave and at the moment even so decadent. The shorts and even shorter shorts paired with the even shorter tops, the bold revealing monokinis, the sheer textures. All of that was there with the some again, high-glam items like stiff structured mini-mini dresses, the cool version of the suit which was the opening look of the show.

The leather jackets paired with the leather pants, the ruffle sleeves peeking underneath or bow alike collars just to give to that a little neo-romantic drama. The stunners were definitely very short dresses which silhouette was kept sleek and decollete accentuated. This kind of dressing could appear to someone too much but it was all about the making a point, a statement that women are free to dress up how they like without being judgemental. And here we can take a parallel with the Yves Saint Laurent. He was all about making woman free in the fashion sense. In this collection, the accent was on the totally liberally feministic perspective to this theme.

But there were even outstanding pieces like flowy and fluent sheer dresses in black, again, as well in leopard print alluring at the upgraded version of the famous YSL caftan. The whole story was finished just like it has begun, with the smoking version of sleek pants, silky blouse, and long coat just to enhance what Saint Laurent was and is all about! It is about power dressing, about modern and groundbreaking style which celebrates womanhood and empowerment of feminine beauty! All wrapped under the mystical surrounding of Parissiene night!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like this sexy and seductive style of it? Which ensemble do you like the most?

Thank you for the attention!
