Everyone who is a slightly into the fashion knows that owning a Max Mara coat is something that is considered to be a must for any fashionista. The classic cut, the luxurious texture, the on pint color, all of that you can find in Max Mara leading and statement item. So in this kind of similar design scenario was lead the latest show by Max Mara for Spring/Summer 2019 Ready To Wear collection at the ongoing and current Milan Fashion Week. The classic with the light innovative inspiration could be the sum up of the show.
Seems that the IT piece, the coat was here the highlight and the juxtaposition. Everything else was built around that item. For the season Spring/Summer the texture is light heavy, slightly deep with the dark cameo colors and with the perfect mix of the chic and casual. Because of the secret that the most elegant and amazing coat is the one that is a comfort but still looking polished and clean. As we start from the opening look, the waist accentuated long coat with the interesting details on the shoulders as well as on the upfront collar. Here we can see the style MOJO of this collection, the bodice of the current Max Mara style; classy with innovating details.
The totally modern approach was definitely hidden in the layerings. The sleek trousers underneath the sleek again skirt is something which could look too bulky or too much. But with the minimalistic forms which are hidden in the sleek approach, this whole ensemble story looks fresh, contemporary and edgy. not to mention the looks derivated from again the coat. The monochrome looks from head to toe with the wider shoulder coat, shrink textured dress underneath which appeared to be the deconstructed version of the, guess, the coat!
Just to break the mono-coloristic cameo story there were few outfits in vibrant yellow. The sleek cocktail dress with the asymmetric top paired with the midi-long blazer looked really stunning and simply amazing. The power of vibrant color has really come at the perfect time just to give this collection a new and youthful more edgy spin. But the most stunning were all black piece at the very end. The little black dress variations, the elegant pants and again one-shoulder top. Or the details in the shape of little ruffles just to give this whole story a more texturized feeling!
This collection has all in the niche of what cool and stunning style is. With the imperative of being elegant and cozy, spinning their aesthetic again around the famous item, the coat, has really delivered the heterogenic sense and vision of Max Mara. Everything well cut, with the distortions in the textures, this collection has really introduced us to another level of Max Mara style which is eternal, modern and classy at the same time.
What do you think about this collection? Do you like the coats by Max Mara in general or is this too classy elegance for your sense?
Thank you for the attention!
