NEW SUMMER STORY BY GIAMBATTISTA VALLI

Some designers have been nourishing the high and by the elegance boosted visions in their work. The glamorous and the red carpet worthy ensembles have become a must, and especially today when the fashion is coming come when the spirit of the dressing-up have become an imperative the fashion houses that love and adore high glam are definitely in the big loop and under the most interest of the fashion fans and the consumers.

Giambattista Valli is the designer that loves fashion, that loves that high chic glamour. And he presents it very well and every time with something new, with something that Valli consumers will fall in love about and make them eternal Valli lovers. The collection for Spring/Summer 2019 was in the same range and visual niche. But Valli would not be so great and amazing if his work would not have that remarkable spin and something new and fresh. With this collection, the vision of summer dressing has gone into the more simple and low key elegance but still so refined and pure elegance.

The more approachable twist was definitely kept in the form of the opening look. The clear lined and simply cut Valli version of the "Le Smoking" with the jersey and chiffon underneath have established what this collection was all about. The simplicity was kept not just in the cuts (the absence of the famous ruffles almost in the couture mannerism was felt strongly) but in the coloristic range too. The famous vibrant mono-coloristic solutions were kept here almost in the low-key niche. Only one dress and that was in the pink tone, has had the allusions of the famous Valli style. Everything else was easy going and easy mellow-toned kind of approach.

The chiffon as a texture, the nominal one was here in the first place too. The mini-ruffles were here kept in the level of the cute summer dress nothing too exaggerated or driven to an extreme. The micro-prints that reminded us more on the Oriental kind of vibe, the elegant arabesques were that extra touch, that innovation in the Valli design for the next season. Plus plenty of whites, of nudes and light nudes. The simplicity was here kept but still, the elegance factor was satisfied, no doubt to that.

This collection has had the new edition to the Valli style. There were ruffles, there were vivid prints, not so many vibrant colors. The spirit of the high elegance that was re-defined for the new and youth fans and buyers. Yet, the spirit of Valli was kept in the refined notes of the airy and big "Spiritus Movens" in the motion, the Valli silhouette was here on the perfect summer spin, with the glamorous but yet approachable aesthetic! We love it, and simply adore it!
