FASHION AQUARELLES BY GIORGIO ARMANI

For some reason, the Spring/Summer collections in the latest few seasons have looked more like they were focused on the night and glamorous ensembles with the imperative in the high chic and high elegance. The sleek and smart silhouettes were a total must so the fact that the current fashion focus is in the more loosed up approach with the airy and flowy textures and forms which is more alternated for an elegant daily quotidian dressing seems like fresh and neo-vintage.

This kind of the spirit was kept in the latest spring/Summer 2019 collection by Giorgio Armani. For someone who is known for the aesthetic that was brought up under the more minimalistic point of design approach and view with the sharp edges and silhouettes, the softness and easy-going flow in the forms is something that Giorgio Armani has found himself. And he is doing an amazing job, no doubt to that. The softness not just in the cuts but in the textures as well as in the colors, this collection has definitely had that feeling like it was part of the aquarelle with the maritime theme and imperative of showing the stylistically perfect day beside the beach.

The light silver looks that have been presented as the opening looks have had a high romantic moment. With the lightness of the satin fabrics paired with the interesting nylon features that could be considered as the cute rain-sun coat. The effortless beauty of the skirts and blouses which in most cases were boosted with the romantic ruffles and waves just to give the visual excitement into the whole story. The very cool and modern, contemporary was the outfit themed with the nylon see-through transparent trousers in the whole monochrome pink. This edgy spin could be considered as another innovative approach that corresponds with the imperative of the young recipients´ expectations.

The very beautiful pieces were left for the very end. The sea blue dresses paired with the fringes on the top, the chiffon scarf around just to boost the romantic drama. The light shining embellishments were there to top this whole summer fashion story that included the easy and casual feeling pieces but with the huge Armani elegance potential. The vintage spirit was kept in hair and makeup just to give this whole picture the full high artistic note! And this collection really feels like the piece of the Monet painting, serene, stunning and simply magnificent. Or simply in the fashion words said, Giorgio Armani!
