PFW: LOUIS VUITTON S/S 2019 READY TO WEAR COLLECTION

What is feminine and how far the concept of the feminine clothing can go far! Seems like this was the occupation in the fashion house of  Louis Vuitton. The synergy of masculine and boyish accents with the ultra-feminine approach has been something that has definitely put this collection amongst the most interesting ones during the Paris Fashion Week. When we talk about the conceptualistic approach to the fashion, to the style and the outfits, in which the fashion is thoughtful as a full-artistic project, we become this kind of collection. The collection that has something to say in the non-pretentious way honoring and gliding impeccably through the fashion de-codes.

The collection for Spring/Summer 2019 in Louis Vuitton has the introspective in the futuristic way of the womenswear. That future glimpses were on the scene in the form of voluminous and stiff, almost "Obelisque" alike shapes, especially on the jackets and coats. But that sculpted touch was so refined. If you look up close the embody of that opulence was made by the hundreds of layers of the most delicate fabrics. With that kind of approach, the richness in texture was held as well as the delicate imperative of the new femininity. This kind of light robust jackets on the top of the light and airy almost ethereal mini-dresses have accentuated the whole new "from-the-other-sphere" aesthetic concept which here was the motivation and design motto!

The glimpse of the androgynous mix with the masculine blazer on the top and the playful shorts in the neo-prints was perfectly incorporated in this whole concept of multi-dressing. Oh, talking about the prints, in today´s Louis Vuitton have come far from that famous LV logo. With the vibrant almost pointillistic kind of approach to the prints, we have become the more playful and edgier, as well as more contemporary. The glimpse of the neo-glam was definitely the silver embellished dress brought in the same voluminous opulence or the simple white coat which minimalistic vibe tones down the whole sci-fi approach and brings us all back again in the current mode.

This collection has shown us how the new and fresh design can look and feel experimental but still so wearable. The Antipodes of the sculpted and soft, of futuristic and classic here were well incorporated into the totally new fashion story transferring us into another fashion dimension. And, that is when it comes to fashion all about! The transcendence which we can relate to but still be surprised at the same time!
