Louis Vuitton is one of the most fashionable labels. From their accessories, from the logo-mania that has been legislative stuff when we think about Louis Vuitton, the influencers one of the favorite brands. There are so many connotations that make this brand outstanding, modern and on the go with the latest trends. Seems like in Nicolas Ghesquière´s aesthetic there is a lot of monumental spin of the known at Louis Vuitton where he consciously chooses to make a totally different kind of fashion concept that will cause a tectonic move in the sense of the fashion trends.
The latest Fall 2019 Ready To Wear collection was all about that! The urban kind of tribe, the edgy turn which includes a major 80s throwback with the polished punk vibes and traces of the neo-grunge spirits. The looks that include the ruffled mini-dresses which could be seen as the romantic detail, were broken by the masculine and savagely robust of jackets that worked almost patchwork alike. The level of the rebellious spirit was higher with the Oxford shoes which evocated the mighty masculinity in all of this.
The moment that could be sensed as the pure trendy one in the future was definitely the ensemble volume on volume. The wide and high waisted trousers (preferably jeans) in the combination with the wide-shouldered jacket or blouse. The rhomboid alike silhouette was definitely catchy and at the first sight full with the vibes of the 80s. But the contemporary touch was held in the finesse of cuts, accentuated waistline and yes, the inevitable detail that Louis Vuitton has as an imperative; a dictate of a good bag! Whether it is one with the LV prints all over it or the more subtle version in the monochromatic coloristic solution like cognac brown or dark blue. With the polished accessorize this voluminous and pure casual silhouette will look more polished and classy!
The casual note was kept throughout the whole collection. Even in the aspects of the night-out ensemble, that was built with the one piece, the mini-dress displayed on the already known canvas that was seen on the looks from the beginning of the collection. The black tights and flat shoes. With the combination of the hard makeup, the accentuated eyes and lips the glamour by LV has guaranteed!
This collection was a total innovation in the aspect of the re-invention of the already known trends from the past! It was more edgy and bold than the usual Louis Vuitton collections, but that it is the beauty of this brand! Because if you look up close you will see the new trends that are coming our way! Well, if not in our wardrobes, at least in our timelines!
What do you think about this collection? Do you like this kind of style and did you expect something to be designed by Louis Vuitton? Which piece do you like the most?
Thank you for your attention!
