THE LATEST COLLECTION BY KARL LAGERFELD FOR CHANEL

It was more than just a fashion show! The latest collection made by the creative designer of Chanel Karl Lagerfeld has been long anticipated since Mr. Lagerfeld´s passing. It was that latest touch of his legacy, the latest creative phantasy that Karl Lagerfeld has brought to life! The fact that he was doing what he likes, drawing until the last day of his life. This shows how his art was the part of his being, of his personality, it was more than just the design or fashion. His creativity was that has given him the strive and that was the secret of his magnificent work of all these years.

So everything connected to the Karl was artistically on point. So the shows for Chanel. The great theatrically stunning stage, the more than just a runway approach, the pure show in the visual and aesthetic sense. All of that was on the verve even in this latest collection, the one for Fall 2019 Ready To Wear. The wintery atmosphere like it was staged in the Alpes with the ski-houses and the snow around the runway. This was indeed the wintery fairytale to the fullest. And that gentle, snowflake delicate was transferred onto the clothes too!

The cozy and warm factor was the oriented guideline with the tweedy textures that were layered. Just the first look that was worn by Lagerfeld´s longtime muse Cara Delevigne, was the pure representation of what collection was all about. The wide wool trousers delivered in the jumpsuit mannerism with the long coat on the top and chic fedora formed hat. The elegant way of winter dressing code was impeccably done. The pure classic with the modern spin that included the bulky necklace, what else do we need! The silhouettes were the pure indulgence of the cozy imperative. They were loosed up and easy although the fabrics looked far from ethereal. But that was the secret of the amazing creative touch that only Karl Lagerfeld could do!

Along the coats, there were the puffer jackets on board too. They will be a big trend for the next season especially when they are mixed with totally elegant pieces like dresses or romantic blouses. The bold monochromatic looks like in this case the fuchsia one or the vibrant blue, just to undertone the stylish mode and to break the wintery/autumnal dullness! And talking about one-color mode, the total bliss was captioned with the all-white midi-dresses. It was like they were made of snowflakes. So gentle, refined, so paradise alike! With the actress Penelope Cruz walking down the runway in the same gorgeousness in white holding one white rose. For Karl, for his legacy!

This collection was like the farewell from Karl to us, from us to Karl! The synergy that fashion builds has once again shown that fashion is more than just pure fashion. It is the way you live, how you create, how you nurture your talent! And Karl Lagerfeld´s life was all about that! To create, to be in art, to make the dullness of life more vibrant and happy! And we thank him for that!
