The first look was something totally different from the expected. The slightly voluminous coat aka blazer form in the light grey on the top of the wrapped midi-dress is definitely Valli´s vision of the office wear. Just to give the whole "too-official" story the more romantic spin, he presented sleek and easy formed dresses with the hints of what has been his iconic detail, the ruffles. This time in the mini edition, just to give the plain casualism a refined and ethereal note. The lack of vivid and vibrant chromatic solutions in this collection was presented too! More whites, greys, light blue. Gentle and almost monopolistic in the visual sense!
The step out was in the prints clash! For Valli, this is definitely the new surroundings, especially the mix of leopard prints and lace layout. But this heterogeneity in the prints as well as in the prints has been done seemingly and with the classic imperative. Nothing too much or too exaggerated. Only romantic sense with the fresh accents! The pure dose of romantic was brought in the shape of long dresses with the asymmetric cut on the front and floor-sweeping length on the backside! Just to ensure us, that this collection is in the romantic scenery of Giambattista Valli!
Evolution with the contemporary twist! This collection has offered us new Valli style, the vision of a woman that is strong, urban, powerful and confident in her style! Sometimes edgy and wild, but still with the dose of extra class! Simply wonderful, with other words!
