LFW: MARY KATRANTZOU S/S 2018 READY TO WEAR COLLECTION

The fashion in all its beauty and glory! Those words go through my head every time I see work of Mary Katrantzou! Her work is bold, brave, playful, celebrates and nourishes the freedom of design inspiration. If you need a visual boost then the Mary Katrantzou design could be the instant fix you. Nothing less was her latest Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection presented today at the London Fashion Week.

The London Fashion Week is the perfect place and context to bring this collection too. With boldness in fashion expression that is common when we talk about LFW the Mary Katrantzou work presents the peak of genius and impeccable design vision. The first thing that catches the eye when we take a glimpse at this collection are the prints. The prints could be seen as the main and constant thing in Mary Katrantzou´s work.

The vivid play of the prints followed by the original silhouette which in this case was loosed up even in balloon alike form. If you add to that the shiny, polyester alike textures by which the ensembles get the vibes of ultra-chic raincoats. Then add to that the perfect embroidery which is in Katrantzou´s work a must, you get the witty and most stunning fashion on the edge of Couture. The perfection of MK design goes even further. In all of these design eclecticism, she manages to make really easy wearable clothes. This is one of the best moment of London Fashion Week so far!
