The silhouette was toned down so the lack of the famous Balmain hourglass silhouette was replaced by romantic stiff waves on the mini dresses which were featured as well as on the pencil asymmetric skirts. All of that was enriched by amazing embroidered textures of the tops and the jackets as well. The domination of the black and white colorism was a step towards the more refined style too. The shiny embellishment fabrics were on the sight only in the puffy lacquered trousers.
The details were beside the modern embroidery which was on the more robust side, the little handbags with the strap rounded around the waists alluring the perfect mini clutch. The step forward was the vision of Balmain beauty. By that, I mean the naked and bare faces of the models. Seems that the no makeup trend has come on the big door from the Haute Couture runways to the Ready to Wear niche. It went brilliantly with this Balmain collection!
