MFW: DOLCE & GABBANA S/ S 2018 READY TO WEAR COLLECTION

The finale of the Milan Fashion Week was grandiose than ever with the Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection. If you are a fashion connoisseur you already know that D&G shows are the festivity of design and style imaginations. Nothing is impossible in the eye of Domenico and Stefano and this collection was a true prove.

The all-black ensembles which were alluring the Sicilian roots and background of Dolce & Gabbana were the glamorous intro. But the design spectacle was just on the leash. What D&G have served us were "piazza" motifs embroidered and printed on the glamorous gown. The lettuce, carrots, cabbage and other vegetables were simply displayed in the printed form onto the fabrics.Dolce & Gabbana love to play with picturesque motifs from Italian traditional life. They love to embody the playful picture to the high fashion.

Nothing is serious, but simply beautiful and full of vibrant colors. Another highlight was the lady Karo from the playing cards. With that symbolism on the runway, Dolce and Gabbana have created indeed the most playful collection ever. Not to forget to mention the famous crowns on the models´ head. If anyone knows how to portrait the woman as a real fashion queen then that would probably be D&G! Swirly, un-realistic and simply stunning!
