ERDEM S/S 2018 RESORT COLLECTION

Flowers, flowers, and more flowers! With this design logic, the Erdem brand has presented the Spring/Summer 2018 Resort Collection. Of course, the floral concept is always very and most welcome in the resort collections for spring and summer. But these flowery prints were displayed on the more texture wise rich side. Avoiding the light and airy fabrics and choosing the heavier and robust ones, Erdem has stepped on the next level of resort style.

The materials were made of silk and satin. With already mentioned flowery prints, the coloristic side was on the more toned down valley. plenty of blacks interrupted with flower prints, deep blue or dark orange. With this coloristic choice, Erdem wanted to show us the Indian summer or at least to take an orientation on the fashion consumers who were aware of their style and love to step up with their outfits.

There is something beautifully melancholic in these Erdem items. With toned down colors but ultra romantic with floral ornaments all around, Erdem has offered us the new and very original point of view of resort collections. Lots of ruffles, big bows, satin glows in Charleston mannerism, this collection has shown the diversity of not just another fashion name but inspired us for aiming for more when it comes to fashion. With Erdem, you will always be in touch with fresh but archaic at the same time. And that is something worth every admiration!
