NYFW: CALVIN KLEIN S/S 2018 READY TO WEAR COLLECTION

The second collection by Raf Simons for Calvin Klein was presented yesterday at New York Fashion Week. This Spring/Summer 2018 Ready To Wear Collection was almost like the continuous style imagination that Raf Simons has been serving when he went to Calvin Klein. I guess America with its own varieties (or similarities) is the perfect source for imaginative. In that way, America has had a design impact on the Raf Simons which could be sensed in Simons work.

And another thing what is very prominent and can not be unseen is the freedom and inspirational boost. These latest two collections were so complex and way beyond just simple fashion. The impact of America to Simons has so many levels which can be read in his latest work. The beauty and vibes of a free society but also the side of America which is kept hidden and untold.

The modern alternations of Western style with patchworky colorful shirts on the top of the elegant version of all American denim, the polyester textures of the raincoats with a printed blanket as the low-key accessory, or simple and polished dresses boosted with another hand piece made of colorful fringes. The ruffled romantic skirts in the combination with simple pieces with hints of an athleisure were on the site too as well as the long gowns made of nylon alluring the instant hype of consumerism. As you can see, the collection had so many great features and facets ensuring us how stunning fashion can be, as well how society can be frightening!

Do you like this collection?

Thank you for the attention!
