THE ROYAL FASHION "FLUSH" BY GIVENCHY

In Givenchy, the artistical vision of Clare Waight Keller has been formed through the whole concept of the modern chic that was renewed and brought to another level of design. The creative concept of Waight Keller at first could seem not so into the glamour but the fact that she was the designer of the most anticipated wedding dress in the last year ( the one from Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan) and the fact that Meghan Markle has been constantly seen in the new design items by Waight Keller, puts Givenchy on the pure Olympus of the fashion brigades. These royal connotations that have been so attached constantly at the Clare Waight Keller´s work at Givenchy could be the two-way street but until this moment the fashion world expects each collection with the huge anticipation.

The collection for Fall 2019 Ready To Wear was all of that and even more! There is something so un-pretentious with Givenchy design in Waight Keller creative direction. The game of the elegant with the unpredictable motifs, the slightly edgy character but still so mono-polished and simply stunning. Seems like Clare has decoded that Parisienne chic giving it the structure, the twisted nature, the gen of perfectly non-perfection. The prove for that was in the first look that was sent down the runway. At first sight, it was the classic coat in camel with accentuated waist via the belt. But one detail was there just to give this whole concept a modern and a step further connotation. The secret was in shoulders that were wide, structured stiffly and sculpted carefully! And just like that, you have got yourself the perfect piece that is classy yet not dull or common!

The occupation by the sleeves and their different kind of aura was held even further. On the tweedy textured coat, again, on the blouses made of lace that was here also structured, on the midi dresses where they were more opulent coordinating with the voluminous nature in general of the skirt. And like this sculpted game has stepped into the crescendo, the total opposite spirit was kept in the long dresses that were sleek and loosed up in the form. Only the structure was here kept in the micro-niche on the details. The tiny ruffles around the coral, the "Plisse" texture of the dresses. And with them, the collection has stepped into the more nocturnal concept.

And that concept was made in the classy deconstruction of the masculine Smoking attaching the big ruffle on the naked shoulders. This here is the proof that Waight Keller builds a concept of the classic elegance breaking it with the one bold detail. And these ensembles were all in all-black chromatic solutions. The gorgeous gown alike dress with the horizontal crop on the top and shiny embellishments embroidered at it. Or the similar one with the organza jacket that was a cross over fully from the casual item to the high glamorous one, with again, well, you can guess, the uber-voluminous sleeves giving us that famous saying: The bigger the better!

This collection was an ode to a totally modern woman who likes fashion, classy elegance and high glamour. But still loves that her style peaks through in the complex simplicity kind of way! And that is something that any fashion connoisseur would adore!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like this edgy classic that has been serving lately in Givenchy? Which look do you like the most?

Thank you for your attention!
