COUTURE NOSTALGIA BY ALEXANDRE VAUTIHER

When Haute Couture is your inner spirit animal then you need to create the clothes in the Ready To Wear niche which is very high fashion, alluring the totally design high maintenance even when walking down the street in the middle of the day. This seems to be a creative strive and mojo by Alexandre Vauthier for his latest Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection presented during the just finished Paris Fashion Week. But the lack of the runway show was successfully switched to the fashion editorial.

The editorial was imagined like a storytelling novel with hints of "Saturday Night Fever" melancholy in a Parisian way. The spirit brought in the editorial was just sensed in the inscenation. The ensembles were totally different story. With strong lines and polished forms, they had the aura of Haute Couture. Alexandre Vauthier definitely makes the clothes meant to be luxurious evening wear. using plenty of shiny embellishment textures on the dresses as well as on the accessories like electric green or purple boots, the items were in totally elegant vibes with huge chic notes.

Two types of silhouettes were involved. The ruffles boosted on the mini dresses and the linear and clean on the suits and trousers. The flowy ones were enriched by the glossy fabrics evocating the perfect party dress. The clear ones were the domain of the mostly white or black ensembles with a masculine touch. And in these ones, the Vauthier Couture spirit could be sensed. It was enhanced even more by the shape of the flat chignon hats which looked perfect on the sleek and clean lines.

This collection has so many Couture features but unpretentiously configured in the Ready To Wear segment. If you are in the search to give your everyday style an exclusive style boost this collection is the one for you. Or you could be easily inspired by it. This is really amazing editorial, well said and curated with beautiful clothes. so feminine, strong with the nostalgia of the woman who lives to love! Simply marvelous!

What do you think about this collection? Which item you find the most interesting? How do you find the avant-garde-ish accessories?

Thank you for the attention!
