THE STYLE DECONSTRUCTION BY MAISON MARGIELA

Fashion is all about creating new things style-wise. The creative strive always begins in the idea which then is cultivated and developed into the new fashion looks. Sometimes this creative procedure can be irreversible with accents on the deconstruction re-building the new fashion style. In this way fashion re-invents itself making and breaking the new horizons on the fashion style.

The same creative aspiring ideas were the main creative domain at the Maison Margiela for the Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection. Having on the mind that John Galliano is a creative director you could expect the innovative touch-ups to the fullest. If we can acknowledge one thing to John Galliano that is his creative boldness and bravery.

This collection had the meta-inspiration within itself. The glamorous and fashionable pilgrim a.k.a world globetrotter with huge accents in experimental style aspects. These innovations were in the sight of the already mention deconstructed features on the purposely unfinished coats, the skeleton sketchy alike cuts which were boosted up with glamour effects through the feathers, fringes and furry textures.

The fabulous were combinations of the unfinished top in the shape of the coat and the elegant sleek skirt. The prints clash here was a must so the variations with the retro floral, golden or crystal ones were the top of this stunning fashion fusion. The pretentious feeling was like the "Lost In Translation" one celebrating the pure festivity of fashion but in the edgy and sassy way only kind John Galliano knows. This collection was more than just pure fashion. It was a statement and prove how fashion reinvents itself, how it continues to dazzle. It is a microorganism with its own laws and nature. A pure statement collection!

What do you think about the deconstruction approach in this collection? Do you like it and do you find it enough visually exciting?

Thank you for the attention!

Georgia! xo
