THE FASHION GETAWAY BY VALENTINO

Although the fashion weeks have finished of course that there were plenty of amazing shows as well as those that were so controversial and interesting in that point of view, and because of that they are about to be discussed. Maybe the current fashion strive seems a little pretentious or non-understandable in today´s social media madness when sometimes we get the feeling that the influencers are those who make and create the trends. But fashion was and will remain the main medium for the cultural, social, human in general multiple layered inter-readings. So that is why the fascination with the high fashion is and must be the focus and the juxtaposition of our interest.

When the word is how fashion can be related to the cultural, to the interdisciplinary approach, seems like the latest Valentino Spring/Summer 2019 Ready To Wear collection was the perfect choice for that kind of perspective. If you are the fashion know-all-type, then you know how amazing Pierpaolo Piccioli has been developing his design and aesthetic in Valentino. To manage to create your own personal signature in that massively acknowledged fashion house which has had its own signature, to re-build it and re-design it into your own integral fashion expression, that is the case worth every admiration.

What innovative and modern looks in the style of Valentino by Pierpaolo Piccioli, are definitely the silhouettes. The forms which are couture alike dramatic and opulent with the balloon alike forms which still look airy and light to wear, which was the first look of this collection, for example, has been something that could be considered as the innovative motif and highlight in Piccioli era. The spin even goes further. The well-thought cut which at the first look eclectic, multi-textured and dramatic is very transparent brought up. The ethereal and beach-ready caftan alike long dresses or the lace ones which have for the imperative not just casual summer code but the elegant and classic vibes too.

The stunning were definitely mini-dresses in the baby doll versions. With the joyful vibrant prints and feathery features, this was definitely a fashion syntagm of how Pierpaolo Piccioli sees fashion through his very own eyes. Of course, none of the Valentino collections can go without the famous red dress. And even here we have the invention. The loosed up approach with the puffy sleeves and big bow or the ruffled shiny textured one featured with the wide belt. For the ultimate edgy approach, there was an uber-dimensional refined version of a strappy hat which echoed the couture wisp!

This collection was one of the most gorgeous ones. The silhouettes, the playful and not too serious spirit, the witty prints, the dazzling and ethereal mini-dresses. All of that so fresh and new. When you look at this collection, you don´t feel any nostalgia for the original Gharavani Valentino. And I mean that in the most complimentary way. The fresh and over and over new design that has been delivered by Pierpaolo Piccioli has so many sides and we can tell that there will be more exciting looks and collections which seem like the perfect fashion getaway, so inviting, well told and so reliable! Something that we will really adore in the future, for sure!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like this Valentino design? Which look do you find the most interesting one?

Thank you for the attention!
