OFF-WHITE STREET RHAPSODY

With the fact that Virgil Abloh will be the main leading designer on the head of Louis Vuitton menswear, the Off-White collections have become that plus spark and curiosity in the style sense, lately no doubt to that. Although Virgil Abloh will remain on the top of his  fashion house which he was the creator of and which he has set off into the fashion mainstream, it will be definitely interesting to see what Off White collections would look like in the future and will there be the visual similarities and connections styles between these two fashion houses.

Lately, as the word was spread that Virgil Abloh will take over the leading role in the design for men collections by Louis Vuitton, there were plenty of questions will his legacy and love for the casual and street style be the main leading design mojo when the word is about his design in Louis Vuitton. We can only speculate that, but for sure we can say what Off-White has in the store for Fall Ready To Wear 2018.

Street but classy could be the words by which Off-White style, in general, could be described. That fact has even more impact if we know that Virgil Abloh was one time the leading design mind behind Kanye West´s collections. So sparkle for the new and nose for the trends is inevitable when we talk about Virgil Abloh aesthetic.

In this collection, the casual and the streetswear were on the point. With the cool see-through textures and high feminine silhouette alluring the 90´s R'n'B style which was androgynous and everywhere to be seen, seems that in the Off-White this approach to the fashion is a common sense, nothing revolutionary or odd. Recycling and re-inventions were something which is often to see these days when we talk about the current fashion which is so strong accentuated with the vintage urban spirit and seems that the roots for that were hidden in the Off-White concept of design. The new spin was in the more polished futuristic alike editions with the sculpted form.

Urban, that is the word Virgil Abloh has incorporated into the high fashion and that is his biggest legacy. The mixture of street and glamorous is his main leading point when we talk about his design. There are plenty of items and pieces from this collection that will be the stars of the street style; the voluminous chiffon layers on the top of sports highlighted pieces, the smart edition of the tops, the cool accessorizes´ game. All of that is the interlude for the main thing the fashion world is excited about and that is Virgil Abloh´s first collection for Louis Vuitton menswear. We can not wait for the new era to begin!
