RALPH & RUSSO SPRING/SUMMER 2018 COUTURE COLLECTION

As the Haute Couture Week has kicked off the many amazing couturiers have presented their Couture collections. All of them will be featured here on my blog for sure, but today I want to write about the Ralph & Russo Spring/Summer 2018 Couture Collection which was presented yesterday. Ralph & Russo is the fashion house if we observe it from the Couture point of view a relatively young and new. From their original focus on the luxurious accessories and high glamour Ready To Wear collections, the spin and start towards the Haute Couture direction was the rational and reasonable choice.

I personally adore Ralph & Russo Couture and their sense of style and high fashion. Their aesthetic is not homogenous. It is rather heterogenic and polyvalent. Whether the word is about the silhouettes, the textures, the colors or the embroideries. All of those features make the vivid and modern twist in the Haute Couture sense. Maybe that is why Meghan Markle has chosen their sheer black embroidered dress for the official photo shoot with Prince Harry! That was the indicator that Ralph & Russo has the fashion flair which is fresh, classic and with an adorable twist.

But let us go back to the yesterday´s collection. It was full of the dresses in so many amazing forms. From the typically Couture gowns with the flowy skirts and accentuated waists to the much modern and ultra seductive asymmetric sheer dresses with high shine and seethrough game. If anyone knows how to make the seductive notes to the highest pitch then that is probably Ralph & Russo house of Couture. And that is what makes their design so exquisite and not boring.

The ruffles´ game in the micro edition which were brought in the light pink gown, the flowery alike patterns made from the pure chiffon, the structured high cut dress in black which embodies the perfect red carpet moment, the silky cascades and the flowy and airy silhouettes featured with the shiny embellishments. All of that and more was on the spot. The highlight was vibrant green dress in origami structured form.

Talking about the more coloristically vibrant solutions were presented in the deep red, citrus yellow and rose gold. Another highlight was at the end and that was the glamorous wedding dress. With rich ball alike gown silhouette and tons of lace, it was the perfect peek of this amazing and beautiful collection which has shown the direction of Haute Couture by Ralph & Russo which is vibrant, modern, fresh, seductive and classy at the same time!
