If anyone knows how to swim successfully in the eclectic and heterogenic style waters of fashion then that is probably French house of Kenzo. Quirky and playful with the witty nourishing the aesthetic of the surprising effect is something that has become a significant trend mark. With the bold and stunning approach to the colors using the most vibrant and vivid ones, all rounded up with the daily friendly ensembles formed by the classic cut pieces.
All of this kind of essentials were on the spot in the latest Kenzo Spring/Summer 2019 Ready To Wear collection. Here the coloristic explosion was featured and not just that. The prints clash is something that inspires the creative minds in Humberto Leon and Carol Lim in Kenzo. That just simply corresponds with the design strive and interests of this fashion brand. And in this collection when talking about clashing prints, the main occupation was in the prints triangle made of animalistic, polka and pepita prints. With this kind of approach to the clashing prints, the jackets in pepita, the skirt with the polka dots, the animal printed versions of the contemporary tuxedos, the outfits seemed to be imagined as the elegant conglomerate which really looks stylistically polished and leveled.
If we look at the first look of the collection, the yellow pepita blouse paired with the python alike printed trousers featuring the long cape alike coat in deep green. This look echoes what this collection is all about. The art of mixing colors, prints, and texture but still looking classic and elegant. The spirit of the "controlled mess" in this case appears to be simply amazing and beautiful. And when that kind of design approach has become your design signature, you are not good at it! You are the best!
But the spirit of that pretty prints clash was toned down with the amazing all-in-one-color looks like the light sheer dresses in pink and yellow, the relatively minimalistic sense captured in the monochromatic black sleek trousers and coat or the divine dress in white with puffy shoulders and silky satin finish in the texture. As we can see Kenzo has once again made an extraordinary collection which speaks in the multiple style languages offering something for everyone and that is the best thing about this Spring/Summer 2019 edition!
Do you like Kenzo design in general? What do you think about this collection? Do you find it very interesting and which look do you like the most?
Thank you for the attention!
