LFW: RICHARD MALONE S/S 2019 READY TO WEAR COLLECTION

London Fashion Week has started pretty grandiosely. With the fashion show by Richard Malone, it has announced perfectly what London Fashion Week is all about and that is light experimental, edgy, brave and almost a little rebellious. For sure that this Spring/Summer 2019 collection was made in the Ready to Wear niche but the concept of the cuttings and details which were brought in the most innovative mannerism and by that I don´t mean just the cuts or colors. The texture is something that Richard Malone style has been known for and although is young designer his aesthetic is yet bold, captivating and strong.

The elevated type of the rainy coat could be the description of the collection. Having on our mind the rainy British summers this collection is on right the place definitely. The original cut forms with the attached extra big pockets which have added the additional texture to the appearance of clothes, the casual note has clashed with the interesting voluminous ruffles which will in the next Spring/Summer be big. The effect of mini-bolero has attached the elegant aura to the almost bulky and casual friendly concept of the collection.

The voluminous jackets with the wide sleeves were on point and paired with the sleek pants. This anti-climax silhouette is definitely something which is fresh and contemporary. The most stunning were the dresses. Imagined to be like the two-piece ensemble the mini ruffles in the texture has accentuated the edgy and poly-valent nature of Richard Malone aesthetic. These glamorous ensembles have definitely something of the causal note kept in there.

The silky and satin materials and fabrics were there just to elevate this whole imagined look. With the pastel colors, this light and gentle spirit was presented too. So in the combination with the sporty imperative and glamorous texture, this collection has brought us the most ideal clash of both worlds! And we simply love it!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like the experimental vibe of it and which outfit is oyur favorite?

Thank you for the attention !
